Why is West Bengal not safe for Hindus anymore?

TMC’s Misrule: Bengal’s Downfall Under Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal has been turned into a lawless, corrupt, and communal polarized hub by Trinamul Congress (TMC) and Mamata Banerjee. Here, political violence has soared with murder of opposition workers and crushing of dissent under her rule. There prevails a good culture at the TMC, where muscle power decides elections rather than any kind of democracy. In place of development, Mamata has empowered a regime of terror, where recommending an elected government is met with devastating retaliation. Once a land of intellectuals, Bengal is now a state ruled or at least dictated by corruption with intimidation determining who does well and who fails.

Mamata’s Minority Appeasement at Hindus’ Expense
Mamata Banerjee’s blatant minority appeasement has put the safety of Hindus in Bengal in danger. State protects radical elements and Hindus are attacked at temples, festivals, and homes. Her government’s bias gets proved through police inaction in Hindu targeted violence. Shamelessly she justified illegal immigration for votes, changing the demographics and disenfranchising native communities. She is about division, not unity. In putting vote banks above justice, Mamata has converted Bengal into a tinderbox of communal tempest. And now, the Hindu who was once secure can live in terror and keep her alive only thanks to her toxic brand of politics.

Corruption and Scams: TMC’s Legacy
Mamata’s TMC is steeped in corruption from the Saradha scam to the coal smuggling scandal. Bengal’s infrastructure falls apart while public funds meant for development simply disappear into leaders’ pockets. Under her watch, jobs are sold, welfare schemes looted and tenders rigged. Mamata gives her government a reputation as a den of scams, and not punishment to thieves. For farmers, there is no money, youth is unemployed and hospitals have no facilities, but TMC leaders move around in luxury cars and are hoarders of illegitimate wealth. A regime that robs its own people is not enough for Bengal.

Dictatorship, Not Democracy: Mamata’s Iron Grip
Bengal is ruled by a dictator Mamata Banerjee, who through violence and intimidation silences most critical voices. BJP workers are killed, journalists attacked, activists jailed; opposition voices are crushed. She is so reviled even her party colleagues can be expelled for showing the slightest hint of disloyalty. The police are mere puppets and do the bidding of the TMC whenever it fits their agenda, filing false cases against rivals and looking for other ways when the ruling party hooligans commit crimes. Speaking freely is forbidden; disagreeing is as good as treason. Today - Bengal is a police state, where only one woman's will rules. Is this democracy or tyranny?

Failed Promises: Bengal’s Ruin Under TMC
Mamata had pledged 'Ma, Mati, Manush' (Mother, Land, People) yet actually made people suffer from 'Mafia, Murder, Misery'. There was an industry exodus, education standards crumbled and healthcare is a joke. Jobs are not given to youth, rather violence, Bengal is not going forward, there are political riots instead. From dharnas to emotional outbursts, she distracts from her failure. Bengal burns even as she plays the victim. Her rule is incompetent and corrupt; the state needs to be liberated from her. Under Mamata Banerjee, Bengal will remain miserable and that would be its only growth story.
