Supreme Court bench comprising of 3 judges releases an order read as “No Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be celebrated at the Eidgah maidan,” in Bengaluru.
Tension among both the community (Hindus and Muslims) began just after the coming of the Hindu festival, Ganesh Chaturthi. The day is prosperous among Hindus because lord Ganesh was born on the Chaturthi tithi of Shukla Paksha in the Bhadrapada month. The curb over celebrating the puja of lord Ganesh in many places in the country like Karnataka and Gujrat became the main cause for the dispute.
A specific community of people ‘Muslims’ have shown disrespect for Hindu festivals and religion on many occasions like Jahangirpuri violence which was sparked after attacking over a Hindu religious rally on Hanuman Jayanti, the Khargone violence during Ram Navami, and Shivling found in Gyanvapi Masjid was said earlier ‘a fountain’ and used the place for wajukhana. After, committing the crime of disrespecting of dominant religion the threat of encroachment on peace in the country increased.
So-called idle Islam lovers OR Islamic terrorists have a hunger for the blood and flesh of innocent lives as they did in past decades, some of them cannot be burnt out as the Genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990 and 2008 Mumbai attacks in which they forgot the essence of humanity and blindly killed the people on the basis of the disgusting lines used to utter by their teacher (maulanas), also called the ‘Jihad’.
This time again, some peace murderers and also extremist followers of Islam tried to restrict the worship of lord Ganesh during Ganesh Chaturthi by some activities like plating stones during taking the lord Ganesh idol.
Also, some assumed great scholars of the religious text and their group called Waqf Board filed the complaint against the celebration of the Ganesh Puja on their land also known as “Eidgah Maidan” in Bengaluru. The case has been settled as soon as possible by the Karnataka High Court which passed an order having an allowance for celebrating the puja on the ground.
Waqf Board, assuming itself as the owner of the land, step up to Supreme Court, and then the apex court entertained the matter and gave a temporary verdict of maintaining the status quo in the area which directed to not celebrate the puja at the maidan.
