Playing text to speech

The death of Black Americans in modern days are representing a brutal American legacy

On 12 June 2020 a black man, Rayshard Brook 27 years old was fatally shot by the Atlanta Police Department and the officers who fired on him is Garrett Rolfe. Just after the killings of George Floydsparked an international racial rights protest in which a massive section of people participated.

The accident of Rayshard Brooks surged the spark among the protesters against Police Brutality and government policy of killing racist people.

In the incident contains, Brook was gunned down by the Police officers who were trying to arrest him. He was detained during a traffic stop in Atlanta outside a restaurant. As per the body cam footage, Brook was asleep in the car and was blocking a drive-through lane.

After questioning about 41 minutes from Brook, who complied with the officers’ request, officers arrested him when he failed a breath test which made him a suspect of drink and driving. He started fighting with them and grabbed a Taser from an officer and run away.

Officer Garrett Rolfe fired two bullets at the back for which he faced initially 11 charges including murder and if he proved to be convicted he might face the death penalty as well. Another officer was also charged with the violation of the oath.

Where the prosecutor, Peter Skandalakis officer of the case says, about the shooting was justified based on the grabbing of the Taser which will be considered a deadly weapon and can cause the death of the Police officers. He also denies the involvement of racism in his judgment.

The Killing practice of American governance of the Black People is something that should be condemned by every nation and international human rights organization. The leader of the local community of the NAACP (oldest civil rights group) condemned the ruling of the government “Race is a part of it.”

These deaths in the US are throwing the light toward the totalitarian government and the hate they beget from Racism. The thoughts of the great personalities Dr. Martin Luther King was to bring all the hidden sections of the country into one stand so that they can have the right to speech. During the 57th anniversary of the King family of the recent victim, Brook included with others and make a slogan “I Have a Dream.”

Today, King is no more in the existence but his thoughts, energy, and teaching are still alive and can never be buried under the ruling of evil powers.

We all are human being made by creation having a common soul and capability but after passing decades we have converted ourselves towards something different and the impact of the changes are witnessed by us.

At last, I just want to express that a being is not a material that needs any characteristics but as per the change in the natural habitat in the different regions the physical appearance may change hence we should respect the soul and energy one has.
