August 5, 2019, has been a historic day for India, as every Indian welcomed the decision of the government. Revocation of Article 370 has been many decades-long affairs but the previous governments took no interest in taking such step towards it. On one hand, where the people of the valley are happy with this action, on the other hand, the politicians of the valley, as well as the opposition parties, are feeling very unsafe and claiming it as an issue of public safety and well-being.

Indeed, Kashmir has been the center of the dispute between India and Pakistan, with at least one full-scale war (1948) and one limited conflict (Kargil War 1999) having been fought between two of them. But is it worth it that, these peoples should still suffer due to these terrorist activities? Being an Indian citizen and being the part of India, why there is a need to give special privilege and extra benefits to the people and the politicians of Jammu and Kashmir.

Such a beautiful valley has been bleeding for a long time, and now this has been high time to stop all these blood-sheds. Every citizen deserves a good life and especially Ladakh, which has been ignored very badly by the politicians of Jammu and Kashmir. So, according to me and as per the response received by people, revocation of Article 370 has been like a boon to Ladakh. In contrast to this, the Jammu and Kashmir’s political leaders called the move ‘unconstitutional’ and warned of serious consequences as well.

Kashmir is a part of India, and it is solely the responsibility and duty of India to take care of it, and propose or revoke any law in the valley. It is really very funny and strange simultaneously to witness Pakistan in such a furious mood. It is really very difficult to understand why Pakistan is being so much involved and disturbed due to the internal matters of India. Well, it might be possible that, that Pakistan has been introducing terrorist activities from the Kashmir area and due to the revocation of Article 370, Pakistan will find difficult to do so in the future.

After such propaganda, Pakistan has been going for help Internationally but every country declined to help Pakistan, by saying that, it is an internal matter of India. Even the biggest supporter of Pakistan, China has also refused to support Pakistan in such a senseless matter. Still, Pakistan is finding very hard to understand this simple thing.

In all terms, revocation of Article 370 is a good attempt from India’s point of view and for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and its citizens. Whereas, for Pakistan, this has been a very bad decision in all terms by the Government of India because now it will become very difficult for Pakistan to promote terrorism in Kashmir valley.

Removal of Article 370, will definitely change the condition of Jammu and Kashmir and in a very short span of time. It will boost the introduction of new industries, tourism, and give a new life to the people of the valley.
