Necessity: Killer of Innocence

Playing text to speech

Food, Water, and House are the basic necessity of every individual. Still, these necessities are becoming a far reach for many people. People are failing to arrange these basic necessities for them. India is having a pool of work-force whereas unemployment is at its peak.

For unskilled people, it becomes very difficult to arrange a two-time meal for them and their family. Which leads a child to turn up as a labor to fulfill his or her family needs. These responsibilities deprive them of education and losing their innocence. The teenage labor can be seen at any construction site or workplace.

Necessity: Killer of Innocence

It is really very heart-breaking to see these kids at any construction site. The age when a normal child used to go to school, play and enjoy his or her childhood, at that age these kids are working as a labor and taking their families responsibilities on their shoulders.

Necessity: Killer of Innocence

I don’t understand why these construction sites allow a teenager to work as a labor. Not only on private construction sites, but this can also be seen on Government Construction sites as well. The selfish contractors don’t realize that they are ruining not only the life of these innocent teenagers whereas the future of the country.

Money is the only way, how they can fulfill their all needs, but without any second thought putting their childhood on denial is definitely a huge cost for that. Teenage labor comes under the category of crime and is illegal as well. An individual effort is much needed in society instead of expecting everything from the government.

Seeing a child begging on the road or doing such a hard work ignoring their age and physical strength is really very sad. In spite of helping or guiding them, to get educated first; people behave very badly with these kids losing their human nature.

Killer of the innocence of these kids is not only the poverty. We, society is completely responsible for this and focusing on increasing the gap between the rich and the poor.
