It won’t be wrong if I say we are the last generation who lived their real childhood, without any tension of gadgets, electricity, air conditioner, matching shoes with their outfits, and many more. In short, we lived our childhood carefree as compared to the present generation. We were not bothered about playing at the clean and hygiene place, making friends on the basis of their language or dressing style. We are the last generation who put their family first and make all the sacrifices for the happiness of our mother and father.

We were the generation who like to play on the mud, road or playground. We just need the excuse to go out of the house and hang-out and play with our friends but the tech freak generation is just opposite to this. They like to be in indoors, talk with their friends very often and maximally through phone calls or social media. In their life, everything is for a purpose and become competitive in every step.

We were the generation who prepare their chapters in dim lights, clean their canvas shoes with the white chalk, used the sweetest way of sending their feelings to their friends, family, and relative’s i.e. postal letters. We were the kids who color their hands and dresses with blue and black inks of their and their friend’s fountain pen. But the present generation is very far from these cute and adorable childhood realities. They are just stuck in their Internet life. They don’t like to interact and discuss with their friends, the Internet became their only and close friend now.

Those were the summer days when our whole family used to sleep on the roof or in the open ground where we get the fresh and clean air and having a single table fan for all. Those night talks were really very memorable when we used to talk and then later those talks converted into our naughty fights. Slowly all those days came to an end and these technologies overtook us and the present generation looks for AC, Coolers, Soft and cozy beds, and most importantly their privacy.

After all the struggles in our daily routine, we were still having the time to spend with our parents and elders. But as now the generation is more educated, they are becoming more self-centered, selfish, and greedy and like to live alone without any disturbance from their family.

Those were really the good time and the most cherishable memories for now and always a story for us to tell our new generation, how friendly and happy our childhood was, with fewer facilities and having a big joint family.
