Open-Ended Battle Between Israel and Hezbollah Begins
Playing text to speech
After the pager attack in Lebanon, a new war started between Hezbollah and Israel. Hezbollah has announced the beginning of a new phase of the war against Israel. Hezbollah’s deputy chief, Naim Qassem, has announced that they have entered a new phase of the war against Israel, and its name is ‘Open Ended Battle’. He said at the funeral of Hezbollah’s top commander that we believe that we are in pain. We are humans. But just as we are in pain, you will also feel pain. On this, Israel said that Hezbollah first killed 2 Israeli soldiers on the border. Now the big question arises: when will this fight between Hezbollah and Israel end?
Last Friday, Israel carried out an airstrike during a meeting between Hezbollah’s Radwan Brigade. The Israel Defense Force confirmed on Sunday that Hezbollah has carried out its most dangerous attack on Israel. More than 150 rockets and four rounds of drones were fired in the Jezreel Valley on Sunday morning, most of which targeted northern Israel. After the attack, Israel tweeted, ‘Hezbollah attacked Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus Christ.’
Hezbollah’s rocket fell on Nazareth, and several places in the city caught fire. The Israel police force has requested people to stay away from rocket fragments and shrapnel, as they may contain explosive material. The war between Israel and Hezbollah is not new; it is decades old. The conflict erupted when Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel. To prevent Israel from its war on Gaza in October 2023.
Right now Israel is focusing on pushing Hezbollah back from the Lebanese border so that people can return to their homes in northern Israel. Meanwhile, Hezbollah has repeatedly said that it will not stop its attacks on Israel until a ceasefire is implemented in Gaza. The Israel Defense Force said it will continue large-scale attacks on Hezbollah facilities, mostly focused on southern Lebanon.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would do whatever it takes to restore security in the north of his country amid escalating exchanges of fire with Hezbollah in Lebanon, which have killed or injured hundreds of people on both sides of the border and forced thousands to evacuate.
Now it remains to be seen whether this opening will end or not. The ever-increasing tension between Israel and Hezbollah has led to the loss of many innocent lives and a lot of destruction. If this war does not stop soon, both Israel and Iran may face a lot of trouble.
