The Indian Government has successfully imposed a ban for 5 years on the Popular Front of India (PFI) association, affiliated groups, and working members for Unlawful interest in the Organisation.

On Wednesday, the most active terrorist group in India has been banned after the raids completed by NIA including ED in the offices of PFI and its affiliated groups. Agencies have found some evidence on the basis of which they request the Ministry of Home Affairs and related bodies to impose a ban with immediate effect.

Popular Front of India Banned for 5 years in connection with terrorism

The government imposed a ban on PFI for 5 years and also detained 270 popular faces of the association who were involved in the terror activities. They used to operate Anti-India activities that are directly linked with the county’s internal security.

The alleged members of the group were involved in organising terror camps and motivating the youth of the nation to join terror minds. The ban on the organisation was imposed under anti-terrorism laws.

Earlier the ban was notified in September and officially published in the gazette on September 28 (Wednesday) morning.

The notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) revealed the ban imposed on PFI including the Rehab India Foundation (RIF) and Campus Front of India, for 5 years under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), 1967.

Release Notification says “the PFI and its associates of affiliates or fronts operate openly as a socio-economic, educational and political organization but, they have been pursuing a secret agenda to radicalize a particular section of the society working towards undermining the concept of democracy and show sheer disrespect towards the constitutional authority and constitution set up of the country”.

It also said “the PFI and its associates or affiliates or front been indulging in unlawful activities, which are prejudicial to the integrity, sovereignty, and security of the country and have the potential of disturbing public peace and communal harmony of the country and supporting militancy in the country”.

The Indian Government has taken the great and courageous decision for declaring a ban on such organisations in the country. Unfortunately, some people including the political parties are blaming the government to use the topic as a political vendetta which it is not.

Today, we have the need to ban PFI’s unlawful intentions while we are making our internal security more strong. These extremist groups are cancer to our society and we should not let them free to cultivate their missions against humanity.

The Popular Front of India has been found linked with ISIS and other terror organisations that have killed millions of lives including inborn infants with attacks. The facts will make you shock detailed in my Other article-
