Why is Congress President Rahul Gandhi known as Pappu in Political World?

Playing text to speech

When we think about Indian politics, particularly Rahul Gandhi, we know that he inherited the heritage of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty. Among his ancestors are Motilal Nehru (Great-Great Grandfather), Jawaharlal Nehru (Great Grant Father), Indira Gandhi (Grandmother), and Rajeev Gandhi (Father). India's Prime Ministers were Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajeev Gandhi. All of them served as Presidents of the Congress party at various times.

For 37 of the 74 years since independence, the Nehru-Gandhi family-controlled India. The so-called projection of Congress as a representation of a dynastic political party has no validity in a parliamentary democracy.

A.B. Bajpai was the BJP's most famous member. Party members pick a party president based on their attractiveness to the public, ability to generate votes, and ability to lead the party to victory in elections. A politician whose party wins an election becomes the party's default option for prime minister after the election.

Thus, Rahul Gandhi's DNA is more political than others. Even if he had consciously decided to remain out of politics, the Indian people would have dragged him back into it by loyalty or influence. (Just like Rajeev Gandhi.) People in India love, adore and worship their leaders, which will be the case for a long time.

Why is Congress President Rahul Gandhi known as Pappu in Political World?

Rahul Gandhi has been elevated above other politicians in Indian politics as the Nehru-Gandhi family's heir apparent. Except for Varun Feroze Gandhi, no other politician can claim such a legacy. So, referring to Rahul Gandhi as 'PAPPU' throughout the election campaign was a well-planned ploy by the BJP to win and destroy the Congress.

In northern India, 'Pappu' is a name for someone who is naively dumb.

In the case of Rahul Gandhi, this name was coined by Dr. Kumar Vishwas of the Aam Aadmi Party during the 'Anna Aandolan' anti-corruption campaign. He used it in one of the tweets that went viral. Following that, the BJP IT cell took it up on social media and began using it to mock Rahul Gandhi. Furthermore, several prominent BJP officials began using this word in their campaign speeches. Even Amit Shah, the BJP's Uttar Pradesh chief before the 2014 elections, has raised misgivings.

Why is Congress President Rahul Gandhi known as Pappu in Political World?

He is Pappu because he did not take his job and responsibilities seriously enough... or because he should have spent more time studying Indian politics and progressing to the point where he could have managed situations involving national concerns.

Rahul lacks both a skilled orator and a mind-blowing charisma to draw attention. He must at least convey his image so that his constitution's progress and social security are outstanding.

3. During a speech in Gujarat, he said:
