Aloe Vera is a plant used for centuries for its health properties, the plant of immortality.
The name Aloe Vera is derived from the Arabic word ‘Alloeh’ which means the 'shining bitter substance' and Vera means ‘True’. The substance’s importance was such as it was in ancient times was regarded as the 'Universal Panacea' in 2000 years ago. The Egyptians also named the Aloe as ‘the plant of immunity’. Today Aloe Vera has been used in major parts of the cosmetology field.
Indian Ayurveda has included the Aloe Vera in its textbook during the ancient time and used it as a natural herb against many diseases. It can be directly applied or taken in a raw form. Whenever we turn the page of world history we found some evidence that many soldiers during the war used the aloe vera in their affected parts.
Aloe Vera has its botanical name is Aloe barbadensis miller which belongs to the Asphodelaceae family. It has green in color in leaves and the jelly-like compound is present inside the leaf in transparent form. The plant is mainly grown in dry places like Africa, Asia, Europe, and America. India has a major part of Aloe Vera in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Gujrat, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.

It is known to be the topmost essential herb given by nature and is contributing to humans its all meditative properties. Aloe Vera has a total of 75 potentially active ingredients that include Vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugars, lignin, amino acids, salicylic acid, and others. The presence of such important property in it acts in many ways as a beneficiary for the human body.

Healing Property

A compound found in the leaves of the plant called Aloe Emodin helps to reduce the accumulation of cancerous cells in a specific place of the body. None has claimed it a cure with 100 percent for breast cancer but some facts and experience have revealed the positive effect of Aloe Vera in Breast cancer.
Antiseptic Agent
Aloe Vera contains some important antiseptic properties and this is just because of the presence of 6 anti-septic agents in it. All six agents are capable to fight Fungus, Bacteria, and viruses. The names of the six antiseptic agents are Lupeol, Salicylic acid, urea nitrogen, sulfur, phenols, and cinnamonic acid.
Laxative Effects
The consumption of Aloe Vera increases the intestinal water content and hence it stimulates mucus secretion and increases the peristalsis.
Control Blood Sugar
In a study of the International Journal of Phytotherapy and Phyto pharmacy, it has been found that the regular consumption of Aloe Vera can result in lower Blood Sugar, and also it replaces the Diabetes2 from the body.
