Many types of this were seen. However, there are 5 main types under it, in which a person speaks without speaking. Head nod means that the habit of moving the head falls under two categories - body language and gestures. 

In the neighboring country of India, Sri Lanka too, the habit of head nod is exactly the same as that of Indians. The only difference is that the people there nod their heads faster. Perhaps this is a sign that they have understood the matter and there is no need to increase much talk. However, experts believe that some Indians have adopted this nonverbal method under the pressure of their culture.
