India Could be the Next Superpower or Not!!!

Playing text to speech

India has been in debates since a long time, that it could be the next superpower very soon. But according to me, I don’t think India could attain this Superpower status in the next 10 years. It is because of a number of reasons where India is lacking behind as compared to the other prospective Countries.

First, let’s see the other competitive countries for India to be a Superpower are, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Israel, Canada, Italy, and Australia. These are the countries which are in the fight to become a Superpower. There are various factors, over which India is lacking behind many of these countries to become the next Superpower.

1. The insidious presence of the Communist Party of India i.e. “Naxalite Insurgency”.

India Could be the Next Superpower or Not!!!

When India is failing to solve its countries internal disputes from such a long time, then how can one argue that India will be the next Superpower? No doubt that every country has faced somehow these types of internal disputes, but not willing to solve the disputes and taking it over to such a long time is really a huge negative point for India.

2. “Inequality” in terms of Religion and Economic Growth.

India Could be the Next Superpower or Not!!!

Every India feels very proud in saying that, Country holds the old Caste System and maintaining the World’s largest diverse Democracy. But I would say, is it really so, do all the religions are living in harmony actually.

On the other hand, from Economic Growth Inequality, I mean that the gap between Rich and Poor is increasing at a rapid speed. It is completely true for this reference is, ‘Rich is becoming Richer, and Poor is becoming Poorer’. Why there is so much difference in the basic earning or the daily earning of a normal working employee.

Apart from this, there are a huge number of people in India who are living Below Poverty Line (BPL). A country can’t become a Superpower with having an army of people below the poverty line.

3. The existence of “Corruption” in almost every department.

India Could be the Next Superpower or Not!!!

A huge population of India has somehow experienced corruption in their life, at least for once. The presence of corruption is very deeply rooted in the system of Country. Not only the employee as the normal clerk or peon level but also the high government officers and even politicians are corrupt in India. The corruption is vast that we are even ready to compromise with the Security and Defence System of the Country.

To eradicate this corruption from system requires a lot of time, and to become a Superpower no country is going to wait for India to take the place. So, expecting to take the place of the superpower in coming near future, might be very difficult for India.

4. Irresponsible “Media Channels” of India.

The Media of any Country is considered as one of the strong pillars to depict the real and strong image of their country in the International platform. But I don’t think Indian Media is even bothered about presenting a strong image of India in front of the World. 95% of Indian Media Channels are busy in making money and supporting the specific Political Party, just to make money. No one is interested in showing the correct information or make the public aware of the reality.

Is this how we are dreaming to become a Superpower Nation, where the one pillar of the country is almost filled with termites?

5. Uncontrolled “Population Growth”.

India Could be the Next Superpower or Not!!!

Yes, for me the population growth rate of India is kind of Uncontrolled. As the facts and figure depict the current rate of population growth is declining. But the problem is that still, the population is growing in multiples of twos or threes. The educated generation is limiting but as the base is very wide, then the branches naturally go wider. The population growth is one of the serious factors for India which takes a back in not only making the Country a Superpower but also in many other fields like poverty, illiteracy, malnourishment, etc.

These were the few points which will stop India to become a Superpower in next 10years. And there will be many other reasons which are pulling India back. As well as, there will be many positive points which will support India to become a Superpower. But the point is no Country can become a Superpower with having all these problems at such a huge level by their side.
