Use of technologies like Mobile Phones and Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many other mediums) making us more alone as we are always depending on it. Constant use of Mobile Phone for chatting or texting and frequent appearance on Social Media lead us to compare our lives with others. This comparison makes us feel lonely and sad about over self that why others are happy and I’m not or how he or she got so many likes and comment on his/her picture and I don’t. All these comparisons can make you think a lot and could also generate some mental issues like depression.

We are so much involved in using the technology that we are even preferring to talk or chat with people through mobile phones or by social media, due to this we are losing our basic communication skills. Technology Making Us More Alone

Everyone likes to make friends and have a huge social group to hang out with. Being in this technological environment we still want a huge friends group to hang out with but we don’t want to hang out physically with our friends. We prefer to chat through phone instead of meeting them. To make a huge social group of friends we add many unknown and bad guys in our friend list. Here, we ignore the fact that friendship can survive for a long time only when we choose quality friends for us, not the quantity friends.

We are very much addicted to technology and Social Media but now it’s high time to realize our mistakes and focus towards changing our habits. When you are with your friend, then just enjoy that time and be with them instead of being busy on the phone. There is no any second thought that technology is good for us, but it is also a thing which could affect our health, tear us apart from the society as well as with the family. So, we need to make changes in our daily habits on how dependent we are on the technology, mobile phones, and Social Media.
