‘NO’ is a Complete Sentence
If you always go with saying ‘Yes’ to the things you don’t want to do, then you must learn the word ‘NO’ and need to add it in your dictionary of vocabulary. Not only this, whereas always remember that ‘NO’ is a complete sentence in itself. The things which offend you, or the task in which you are not comfortable in doing it; simply just learn to say NO for it, in spite of landing into any kind of trouble due to that. So, the word NO is very powerful and it won’t allow anyone to compel you to do the task against your will.
So, you need to learn to say NO; and everyone must need to learn to hear and understand this NO. We had to give space and respect to the concerned person opinion and inability to perform that specific task. Whether it’s a Women or Men if he/she is saying NO for anything to them, they must accept his/her refusal gracefully and positively.
Like, if a Women says NO then she needs to be respected for her decision in spite of feeling insulted. This could be seen very persistently in the Indian Male Dominant Society. Where men’s don’t accept a women’s refusal gracefully. We can also see these incidents sometimes in our family and relatives too. No one can deny from this fact that being in this developing and educated society Women’s are not treated well.
We talk a lot about Women Empowerment and Freedom but still, we are lacking behind, just because people are not allowing to change their mindsets. If a wife says NO to her husband then there is a possibility that her refusal might annoy him and can lead to some serious issues of misbehavior.
A woman has an equal right to be happy and get respect from her family members. We used to talk about “Beti Bachao” (Save Daughters) but why only daughters, why don’t we educate our sons to behave and respect. I think we need to focus more on our son’s education (Beta Padhao) instead of saving the daughter.
To shape the future of any country, its youth need to be responsible and educated. In India maximum population understands youth means boys, whereas it is wrong, youth is a combination of both boy and girl. Both are equally responsible for shaping the future of the country. So, a son needs to be educated to give equal importance to females.
