Why must India teach a strong lesson to Pakistan now?

Exposing Pakistan’s Terrorist Mentality

Terrorism, welcomed and nurtured, has become a part of Pakistan’s tradition – training, harboring, financing and launching the proxies. From the Taliban to the Lashkar-e-Taiba, this group's terrible history of maiming and killing is very clear. Contrary to the picture presented by officials, it is actually Pakistan’s military and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) which export turmoil by employing jihadists as proxies. The world plays a double or a dual role – on the one hand it acts as a victim, on the other hand it nourishes extremism. India cannot afford any more cross-border aggression from any of its nearby countries. That is why the terrorist mindset in Pakistan has to be dismantled and it cannot be negotiated with.

Pakistan: A State Sponsoring Terror

The UN and the FATF have more than once painted Pakistan as a terrorism-central in the world. Therefore, Abbottabad was certainly involved in the act of housing Osama bin Laden. Its army and intelligence agencies support organizations such as Jaish-e-Mohammed openly; in fact, the country is virtually a factory for terrorists. Indeed, instead of crying that it is a victim, it continues to provide sanctuaries for its operatives to hit India and Afghanistan. Otherwise no amount of denial can explain its crimes—it is a rogue state that feeds on violence.

Pakistan’s Lies and False Victimhood

Terrorism in Pakistan is relentlessly focused on manipulation where Pakistan, on the one hand, portrays itself as an aggrieved party. It yells over the occupant of ‘Kashmir’ but remains quite silent over Balochistan, Sindh or Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, where it kills anyone who dares to voice dissent. It cries for international sympathy and support while it provides weapons to militants. The fact is we, Pakistan is not a victim but became an invader. India must come out of these lies and counter them with blind and continuous power to stop the terrorism machinery.

The Army-ISI-Terror Nexus

It is also important to note that Pakistan’s army and Inter-Services Intelligence do not merely endorse terrorism – they regulate it. Both Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar are on the prowl because they promote Pakistan’s interests. The military establishment makes use of jihadists for the purpose of fomenting unrest in the neighbors and avoids responsibility. Here, it’s important to stress that it is a state policy we are talking about, not some marginal and errant groups. To effectively deal with the problem, India needs to attack at the core of the problem by attacking and eliminating the terror camps and choking the terror funding. The policy cannot be half-baked, and as much as the Western countries believe in diplomacy and dialogues, Pakistan understands only Might.

Time to Crush Pakistan’s Terror Empire

Pakistan’s economy is in meltdown and yet the country continues to spend billions on terrorism. Hebrews 12:3: Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, such great suffering from those who are hostile to God, who opposed him while he was being insulted, who did not revile in return. India must teach Pakistan a lesson that will cost the country in terms of diplomacy, militarily as well as economically. People of the world have been bearing with them for too long now. One can only catch this threat if he/she uses a decisive and unrelenting approach. Terrorist mentality in Pakistan has to be eliminated and therefore it cannot be argued with.
