Terrorists in Kashmir Valley Protest Over Killing of Hezbollah Leader
Playing text to speech
Recently, there was an unpleasant incident that took place in Kashmir Valley. Citizens started to protest when the leader of the Hezbollah party died. Do you know why? This leader, who was destroying things in the name of jihad, left his followers without any peace. He was captured during a Daylight operation when policemen were searching for terrorists. Instead of seeing how dangerous people like him can be, fools come together in the heat of the moment. This is quite a disturbing reaction on the part of our patients, and it should be given the attention it requires.
The leader we are speaking of is not an angel or someone who has never done wrong in his life. He was a terrorist, a man who wanted more people to be afraid and to use force to do so. The objective that he set for himself was to eliminate peace and bring hatred among groups of people. Sadly, there are people like him in the world, and when one is removed, then it is justice done and not something to mourn or to fight for.
But Kashmir Valley made them shout slogans as if this man’s life was capable of getting applauded. This makes you wonder why they are responding this way. Are those protesting concerned with peace and their neighbourhood? Or do they have a change or undue devotion to an uncalled-for opinion?
And the most hypocritical thing is that all these protests are taking place in India, a country that thrives in democracy and respects the law. But here we see civil rights being used and abused for the benefit of a terrorist heritage. The fact is rather confusing when such protests happen. Why do people living in a country that has freedoms such as constitutional rights, which include the right to practice their religion, protest at the death of a terrorist? It’s not about propriety, religious or otherwise; it’s associated with terrorism that has affected many people, within the boundary of India and extending to other countries too.
Those taking part in the protests should pause and think: Why are they angry over the death of a terrorist who killed innocent people? India is an open country, and our people, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and all other communities are living here. This contradicts what India stands for, or at least that is what the Indian government would want the international community to believe.
It’s time to pay attention to the fact that it is ironic to protest against this bad cop. Assassination is not a tragedy—the close call involved the death of a terrorist, and the Hezbollah leader wasn’t exactly some humanitarian. All those who are demonstrating in favour of him should reflect on the preciousness of supporting terrorism. This situation is not about religion; it’s about extremism—and such ideas cannot be allowed in any sane democratic country, like India. Instead of supporting these terrorists, it is better if we support real Indian emotions—unity, fraternity, and harmony!
