History of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) every Hindu must know about.

Playing text to speech

In the ugly world of extremist politics, just when you think they can’t sink any lower, they find a new way to shock us. A recent incident involving Owaisi Sahab, a Member of Parliament, is a prime example. Instead of saying "Jai Hind" during his oath, he chose to shout "Jai Palestine" as he walked out. This is the same Owaisi who once said he wouldn't say "Jai Hind" even with a knife to his throat. They live in India, serve in the Indian Parliament, but won't say "Jai Hind" for their own country.

They’ll say "Jai Palestine," but not "Jai Hind." Our constitution's Article 102 says that if any representative shows loyalty to a foreign country, their membership can be revoked. Yet, we see "Jai Bhim," "Jai Meem," "Jai Telangana," and "Jai Palestine" openly in Parliament. Some defend it as free speech. But if they say "long live Palestine" today, will they say "long live China" tomorrow? Many MPs are already babbling "Jai Pakistan." If this continues, who will stop them?

This isn’t the first outrageous act by the Owaisi brothers. On December 5, 2021, at a rally in Kanpur, they threatened the police using Modi and Yogi's names, saying they wouldn't always be in power to protect them. Allah will take care of you, they said. The same Owaisi brothers threatened Kamlesh Tiwari in 2015, comparing his jail conditions to those of a mouse and predicting his destruction. Akbaruddin Owaisi, in public gatherings, has declared that if the police are removed for 15 minutes, the Muslim community will show its strength against the majority. These brothers have mocked Hindu gods and goddesses in their speeches. Is there any other country where a Member of Parliament stands in Parliament and cheers for another country while threatening and insulting the majority community?

Yet, no sectarianism is seen in some groups. They either don't see or choose to remain silent. The history of Owaisi's party, AIMIM, is conveniently ignored. Some people repeatedly remind us that Savarkar apologized to the British or claim the RSS didn’t fight for independence, but they never tell you the history of Owaisi's party. Even today, AIMIM considers those who wanted to go to Pakistan their biggest leaders. Years ago, the command of this party was handed over by Kasim Rizvi, who was responsible for killing hundreds of Hindus, to Owaisi's grandfather.

The Owaisi brothers' party, AIMIM, has its roots in the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), formed in the early 20th century with the goal of creating a Muslim state in Hyderabad. At that time, Hyderabad’s Nizam was torn between joining India or Pakistan or becoming an independent state. Despite Sardar Patel's efforts to convince him peacefully, the Nizam's army, the Razakars, led by Kasim Rizvi, committed brutal massacres against Hindus.

In 1948, Patel had enough and sent the Indian army to free Hyderabad from the Nizam's control. The operation wiped out the Razakars, and Kasim Rizvi was imprisoned. Rizvi handed over AIMIM to Owaisi's grandfather before going to Pakistan. AIMIM, originally a religious organization, was transformed into a political party by Abdul Wahid Owaisi, and since then, it has been active in Hyderabad politics.

Today, AIMIM continues to honor leaders like Bahadur Yar Jung, who openly supported Pakistan. Despite their anti-India history, they have a significant influence in Hyderabad politics. The party’s current leaders, like Akbaruddin Owaisi, echo the same divisive and radical sentiments as their predecessors.

When Owaisi Sahab shouts "Jai Palestine" instead of "Jai Hind," it’s a deliberate message to his vote bank. It’s not a slip of the tongue; it’s a calculated move to prioritize a foreign cause over his own country. This hypocrisy is glaring. If these leaders truly cared about injustice, they would speak up about the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh or the daily conversions of Hindu and Sikh girls in Pakistan. But they don’t, because these issues don’t serve their political agenda.

The roots of this poisonous mindset in politics run deep, and the country needs to be aware of it. The Owaisi brothers and their party's history show a clear pattern of prioritizing a radical, divisive agenda over national unity and integrity. This dangerous policy must be exposed and understood by everyone. Only then can we challenge it and change it.
