Is Akbaruddin Owaisi going to be the next “Muhammad Ali Jinnah”?
Playing text to speech
Before commenting on the topic, I would like to give a brief introduction about who Akbaruddin Owaisi is. He is an Indian politician and a member of the Legislative assembly and the leader of the AIMIMlegislative party of Telangana. He is famous for his controversial speeches which generate anger and outrage on social media a lot of times. His speeches are also majorly criticized by several notable people and organizations. He pretends to be the Messiah of the Muslim community and through his speeches he generates sparks of communalism. His majority of followers follow his words blindly as some god.
If spreading hate is a religion then I think there is no other god other better than Akbaruddin Owaisi. Whether illiterate or literate, the majority of the Muslim population follows and supports him. He is hated by almost all Hindus for his insulting remarks made against Lord Rama thereby hurting their religious sentiments. He openly supported Yakub Menon who was a terrorist convicted of the 1993 Bombay bombings and justified his death saying that he was killed because he was a Muslim. He refrains from saying Vandemataram or Bharat Mata ki Jai even after proudly justifying himself as a true Indian (what a joke). He even went on to oppose the triple talaq bill which was a torment for Muslim women.
There are multiple instances of Akbaruddin Owaisi’s vandalism through his speeches. In 2007, He gave death threats against a women activist named Tasleen Nasreen. In 2011, he used insulting terms like “Kafirs” and “Kufrastans” for to MLAs of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative assembly. In 2012 he hurt the sentiments of the Hindus by making objectionable remarks about Lord Rama and his mother Kaushalya. He even went on to call the Hindus “impotent” and the Indian Police an “impotent” army. In 2013, he threatened that if the police is withdrawn for 15 minutes, we (Muslims) will demolish the Hindu population of India. He even justified the 1993 bombings on Bombay by referring is as a reaction to the demolition of Babri Masjid.
Now, talking about whether Akbaruddin Owaisi is going to be the next “Mohammed Ali Jinnah”. In a few areas, they both are the same. Jinnah and Owaisi both lead a party that only represented the Muslims. Both of them used religion and “oppression” as their major tool to attract the Muslim masses to become their blind followers. After they got elected the only ones that got benefitted were they and did nothing for their community. Jinnah acquired the support of a lot of people because his ideologies favored the “divide and rule” policy of the Britisher and Owaisi has support from the current Congress party. Jinnah distracted the Indian Muslims and made them abide by the Britishers and Owaisi did this by asking the Muslims to bargain on behalf of them his political interest.
I do not know what others think but both of these so-called gentlemen are ravagers of India and its people. They successfully broke the mutual understanding of Hindus and Muslims in India which had prevailed for a long time. It is due to the contribution of these gentlemen that the spark of communalism they created has now turned into a fire. Jinnah, who claimed to be the leader and the sole spokesperson of the Indian Muslims did nothing for his community. He was the chief cause behind the partition of India and was responsible for most of the riots and violence that happened before the partition. It was his dream of becoming the Prime Minister that caused severe bloodshed and the division of an entire nation.
Owaisi on the other hand is a true example of a hypocrite who exploits the mind of the Indian Muslims for his political interests. He purposely tries to isolate the Indian Muslim masses from the actual democracy and misleads them by showing them his falsely generated communal angle. He accuses RSS and BJP of hate speeches but finds his speeches too inspiring and peaceful. He is not even worthy of being a member of the legislative assembly, it is because of his blind followers whom he has taught the lessons on communalism he has achieved such heights. His entire political career is based on deceiving people of reality and showing himself as a savior of his religious community. He may try to become the next Mohammed Ali Jinnah but will not be able to repeat the catastrophe created by Jinnah because we do not have Mahatma Gandhi, we have Narendra Damodardas Modi at-rule.
