Each coach is outfitted with a set of six closed-circuit television cameras, an emergency door-opening system, and a communication button to establish contact with the train operator. Furthermore, these trains provide amenities such as storage compartments above seats, access to Wi-Fi, and power outlets for charging mobile devices  and laptops available at each seat. A professional train attendant is available in the luxury coach to guarantee a safe and enjoyable trip.

Platform screen doors are designed to increase safety on platforms.

Namo Bharat places great importance on safety, which is clearly demonstrated by the installation of platform screen doors (PSDs) at all RRTS stations. These PSDs contain a signaling system that improves passenger safety and reduces the likelihood of accidents.

Namo Bharat provides a range of ticketing options to accommodate the varying requirements of travelers. Passengers have the choice between using QR code-based single tickets or a card-based transit system to conveniently travel for their entire trips. Ticket vending machines(TVMs) or ticket counters allow for the generation or purchase of QR code-based tickets. The TVMs possess UPI capabilities, guaranteeing a smooth and digitalized ticketing encounter.

Fare Structure

The pricing system for Namo Bharat has been carefully developed, considering the distance traveled or number of stations passed. The premium coach has a base fare of Rs 40, while the highest fare cannot exceed Rs 100. The fares for the five standard coaches in the priority section range from Rs 20 at the minimum to Rs 50 at the maximum.

The Namo Bharat trains will exceed the average speed of both conventional metro trains and passenger trains within the Indian Railways network, with an impressive rate of 100 kilometers per hour. These cutting-edge train sets, produced by Alstom in Gujarat, demonstrate India's commitment to its 'Make in India' campaign.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Namo Bharat provides a preview of India's future and represents the nation's evolving strength in the economy. The Prime Minister announced that the initial phase of the Namo Bharat Train project, connecting various areas of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan, will commence with the 80 km Delhi Meerut stretch. According to PM Modi, in the near future, there will be an establishment of a comparable system in different regions of the country to enhance connectivity and foster new job opportunities.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the current decade holds great potential for transforming the Indian Railways. I do not typically pursue modest aspirations or proceed at a leisurely pace. Prime Minister Modi expressed his strong determination to ensure that Indian trains surpass all others globally by the end of the current decade, giving utmost assurance to the young generation. He stated that the Indian railway will reach new heights globally in terms of safety, cleanliness, amenities, organization, responsiveness, and proficiency. The Indian railway has made significant progress towards achieving complete electrification.

He mentioned the introduction of projects like Namo Bharat and Vande Bharat , which involve the use of advanced trains, as well as the improvement of railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Railway station initiative. By the end of the decade, Trinity of Amrit Bharat, Vande Bharat, and Namo Bharat will epitomize the advancements in the railway industry, remarked the speaker.

The Prime Minister highlighted the concept of multi-modal connectivity, stating that various transportation hubs in Delhi, such as Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut, including bus, metro, and railway stations, are being integrated through the Namo Bharat system.
