My views on corruption in India
Playing text to speech
Highlights
- Widеsprеad Problеm- Corruption is dееply еntrеnchеd at all lеvеls of Indian sociеty, from grassroots to thе highеst еchеlons of govеrnmеnt.
- Political Corruption- Politicians in India havе bееn frеquеntly accusеd of corruption, including bribеry, еmbеzzlеmеnt, and kickbacks. Political partiеs oftеn usе illеgal funds for campaigning.
- Burеaucratic Corruption- Thе Indian burеaucracy is notorious for its corrupt practicеs, with officials dеmanding bribеs for basic sеrvicеs and pеrmits.
- Policе Corruption- Thе policе forcе is oftеn criticizеd for corruption, еxtortion, and abusе of powеr. Many citizеns fееl hеsitant to rеport crimеs duе to fеar of policе harassmеnt.
- Judicial Corruption- Instancеs of corruption within thе judicial systеm, such as dеlays in casеs duе to bribеs, havе еrodеd public trust in thе judiciary.
Corruption is everywhere, we count on those who respect the law and fight for it. Corruption is doing things faster, being unfair to either person, deceiving the people or the government.
Imagine a fast driver will be fined, but the police will abandon him by bribing him 100/-, if he is fined and punished, chances are he won't do the same thing again. self again. One day he will die at the same rate and make those who depend on him unhappy.
Corruption is everywhere, where money plays a key role, corruption takes over
To get your child's birth certificate, you have to bribe everyone
To get your grandfather's death certificate, you have to bribe everyone. From birth to death, from politics to sports, from media to movies, from education to career, from job to starting a business, even marriage, one cannot get married if there is no alcohol bribe called dowry.
I am not the Vivekananda to point the finger at people and justify myself, but an ordinary man frustrated enough to protest. This cannot be eliminated in a day, a month or a year, it will continue as long as people are looking for money in a shorter period of time.
As a realist, it will not disappear in the short term, at least it can be reduced to some extent without harming the lives of the poor.
Law and order are only for middle-class society . The rich and influential were never convicted and even when they did, the sentence was delayed to the point where the wealthy lived their lives and had no problem moving to the chambers. their new 5 star prison. The poor have the ability to gather, flee, and distort their identities because they have no family responsibilities towards themselves.
This is known as middle-class tax-paying working society in India, whose life is ruined when a family member is incarcerated in a trial. Social life, dignity, career, future... everything is at stake until the case drags on.
It's a money-driven society where you can buy anyone if the price is right, whether it's a Supreme Court Justice or a high-ranking police officer. Money talks… Corruption must be stopped if India is to prosper.
We will be born with nothing and die with everything :)
Are you looking to buy a property? You are expected to list below the asking price. For what? To save tax. The police asked for documents at random. I received less than the actual fine. I didn't cut Challan. There are too many of them to confront them directly.
The previous owner of the house never gave details about his kitchen. I need it to pay my income taxes.
The roads are messy. Loopholes are everywhere. Need money for the election? Fix a road that doesn't even sink. Want to deliver a document to a government office? We have to help the government agents a little bit.
These are the things that I have observed. Multiply that by the citizens of our country. Just like the Me Too campaign against harassment of women, if you have a Me Too campaign to deal with corruption, people will attach hashtags. In my opinion Corruption starts from people, Corruption is not only related to money but it also exists in many different fields:-
corruption in ideology, politics and profession, administration and the list goes on.
We have to work in all fields and the main source of transformation is education, so start educating the child by relating moral and ethical values . Severe government sanctions (government intervention and regulation is a must) should also set an example.
When charity starts at home, start doing it and let people know that your work can be done without corruption (e.g. At the RTO office people don't know how to do it. so brokers exploit them, so if you know, help them and contribute in India against corruption). In India, some say police are corrupt, some say lawyers are corrupt, some say politicians are corrupt, some say the judiciary is corrupt, some say government employees are corrupt. .
I agree with that but the question is
"Where did all these people come from"??
All these people are Indians so there is no doubt that all regions are corrupt for the sake of the Indian public.
Who let them do it, our people let them do it. If we want an India free of corruption, we must change the mentality of the people. This process can be slow but in my opinion it is the surest way to get rid of corruption.
Only the people of India can do this, no one else has come down from heaven to do it for us.
