CJI D Y Chandrachud Says "My Work Will Speak" let's See What It Means

Playing text to speech

My Work Will Speak,”

Says the latest and youngest Chief Justice of IndiaD Y Chandrachud after the oath ceremony in Rashtrapati Bhavan. What the term CJI means is the head of the third pillar of India.

Welcoming new Chief Justice also means the farewell of the old one. Similarly, India by now has witnessed 49 CJIs who served the highest post of the Indian Judiciary and now we are welcoming our 50th CJI D Y Chandrachud.

Here an important question arises ‘Why CJI matters to India and its internal laws’? These will be the questions around which we will complete our stuff in a very brief form.

Being a law graduate I know the life of any person who is dealing with confiscated matters in law.

The life of a Judge is very different in many senses they do not use to watch TV and read newspapers just because they all can influence their opinion which matters a lot for any case which might be listed tomorrow.

They are the persons who have high-security risk even more than any political being just because they might be dealing with a case in which any criminal is involved.

Above all the barriers there is the special position in India. CJI is considered to be the highest authority that can interpret the Indian Constitution which will comply with all the boundaries of India including Jammu and Kashmir.

When we talk about Justice Chandrachud, is a man the great intellect in law. He delivered a great judgment which contributed a lot in terms of Indian History.

He was a member of the benches which was constituted to deliver historical judgment.

The Benches were-

  •  Ayodhya Case
  • Right of Privacy
  • Validity of the Adhar scheme
  • Sabarimala issue
  • MPT act

Above all, there are a number of cases in which he has his involvement. He will serve as the CJI only for two years but his father YV Chandrachud who was also a CJI held the chair for 7 years.

His words which he uttered after oath-taking in the President’s House under President Droupadi Murmu are “My work, not words, will speak.”

Here what he said indicates the development of the Judiciary in terms of working hard to cover the pending cases, infrastructure work of the Judiciary, and properly validating the Bar Council position in India.

“To serve the nation is my priority. We’ll protect all the citizens of India, be it in terms of technology or registry reforms, or judicial reforms,” D Y Chandrachud.

He also has served as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court and Mumbai High Court

I congratulate him on this wonderful day and expect he will bring the changes that which nation wants from the judiciary. The laws which are Pre-Independent and not necessary will vanish.

May God bless him and provide enough courage to take the toughest decisions.
