Parth Chatterjee and Arpita Banerjee, both have been arrested under the SSC scam

 

West Bengal Government ex-minister Parth Chatterjee and his companion and well-known celebrity Arpita Mukherjee have been found involved in SSC Job Scam. The raid of the Enforcement Directorate came into action on 25 July in which crores of rupees were found in the Parth’s house and his companion Arpita’s House.

Both of them were arrested after their involvement of them in the SSC Job Scam. Parth Chatterjee was the Education Minister in the government and he seek the loophole in the procedural hiring due to which he filled his house with Indian notes.

Till now, the central agency has covered more than 50 crores in cash besides gold and foreign currency from the two flats owned by Arpita Mukherjee.

Chatterjee was a member of the Trinamool Congress under the leadership of Mamta Banerjee until he was not removed from the party. Parth has been sacked from all the important platforms of the state and even the west Bengal government has removed his photos from all the govt related posts on different social media posts.

He is not the one who bagged such an amount in his pocket and even the govt is not the first in its type, generally, all the government is involved in some amount of corruption hence the matter is how much you have the capability to digest the percentage of corruption. 

Court has ordered the ED to present the accused in front of the court today.
