The Line” world’s first zero gravity vertical in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman proposed a model of a city, carbon-free, with zero gravity, with no roads, no cars, and no pollution and now the city is under construction. The structure of the city will be vertical and it is to feature two skyscrapers extending across a swathe of the desert.

The city will be extended over 170 Kilometers and the height of the city will be around 1600 feet. The ready architectural marvel after being ready will run in a straight line from the mountains of NEOM to the Red Sea.

The Prince of Saudi Arabia said about the project “We cannot ignore the livability and environmental crisis facing our world’s cities, and NEOM is at the forefront of delivering new and imaginative solutions to address these issues.”

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the chairman of the NEOM board of directors revealed the design of the city and said “civilizational revolution that puts humans first, providing an unprecedented urban living experience.”

He mostly expressed the issue of climate change in coming future days as continuous we are increasing the pollution of our atmosphere and hence Saudi Arabia planned to make a better tomorrow for an upcoming generation where they can breathe pollution-free air.

He said in a meeting in Jeddah about the city that it will “tackle the challenges facing humanity in urban life today,” adding he said, “Shine a light on alternative ways to live and create a model for nature preservation.”

The city is capable to reside nine million people in it and it will have cosmopolitan facilities that will benefit the people. The city is 500 meters from sea level with only 200 meters wide.

The residents will have all the facilities within five minutes of the walk due to the fast connectivity of one end to the other in just 20 minutes.

Talking about the idea of such infrastructure, Prince Salman said “the idea of layering city functions vertically while giving people the possibility of moving seamlessly in three dimensions (up, down, and cross) to access them is a concept referred to as Zero Gravity Urbanism. Different from just tall buildings, this concept layers public parks and pedestrian areas, schools, homes, and places for work, so that one can move effortlessly to reach all daily needs within five minutes.”

We all know about the Burj Khalifa for its tallest structure that is made in Saudi Arabia including this there are many other structures that are built by Saudi Arabia to provide a good standard of living to the people and to attract tourists from all over the world.
