Indian External Affairs Ministry’s spokesperson says ‘Any such actions by any party directly infringe on India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity; after looking the efforts are being made by the China and Pakistan to surge the development process in Indian Border. Both the neighboring countries signed an agreement that began in 2013 valued at $47 billion but as of 2020, the worth of the project is $62 billion.

Recently, during a meeting of the CPEC Joint Working Committee (JWC) on International Cooperation and Coordination on Friday, both the countries (Pak and China) decided to be the third country in the project that has interested to join the CPEC initiative.

The spokesperson of EAM, Arindam Bagchi criticised the move taken by China and Pakistan and said “We have seen reports on encouraging proposed participation of the third countries in so-called CPEC projects. Any such actions by any party directly infringe on India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity” after looking at the effort of the neighboring countries to incite the peace of the international border.

Bagchi responded to the move and also expressed Indian instance over the matter in their words “India firmly and consistently opposes projects in the so-called CPEC, which are in Indian territory that has been illegally occupied by Pakistan,” EAM spokesperson said.

He also told the Indian future action in his message “Such activities are inherently illegal, illegitimate and unacceptable, and will be treated accordingly by India,” Bagchi said.

India has always been against such projects and any kind of development near its border and also clarified to Pakistan that any development near the border will lead to a hostile relationship in the future. Former Prime Minister of PakistanImran Khan also showed his interest in the project and called it a “Strategic Significance.”

India condemns Pak and China

Any development near the Indian Territory can be the cause for the annihilation of the peace of the international border. We have witnessed the incident after some time that converted to the war of 1971 and 1962 in which both the countries lost thousands of lives and economic loss.

Pakistan should stop such moves and should focus on strengthening the internal economy in terms of bread, butter, and shelter for its citizens. I was recently reading the news about the worst condition of Pak Passport which is the Fourth Worst Passport in the world

Overall Pakistan is ready to live its life as a dog’s life but will not stop its terrorism intention to interfere in India’s surroundings. India has always been capable to reply such actions of Pak and China and still I have strong faith in the Indian Government and Forces over maintain the peaceful aura near the border.
