What to do If your Eye Glasses Don't Fit?

I bought new glasses, but there is a problem. Maybe they just don't fit as they should. Or it's not as clear as you might expect due to a prescription issue. Maybe they are not the perfect glasses for your face shape.
Good luck with whatever the problem is with the new glasses. There are several ways to fix the problem. You can also set it yourself. Learn about solutions for unsuitable glasses.

Get an exchange or refund
If the problem is with a defect in the material, many sellers will replace your glasses or give you a full refund. If you don't like the fit of your glasses, we can offer up to 30 days return or refund.

If you purchased eyeglasses from an optometrist and the problem is with an incorrect eyeglass prescription, similar refund or replacement policies may apply. However, there is no guarantee of replacement or refund if damaged by yourself.

Be sure to check the fine print before guessing about your return or refund policy.

Please consult an ophthalmologist
It's best to buy glasses from an ophthalmologist and have them checked if you think you have a problem.
It understands very well whether there is a compatibility problem or if the lens is made correctly. Your ophthalmologist may also want to re-examine your eyes and see if you have had vision problems since your last eye exam.

Making the adjustments
Some small but effective adjustments can be made to the glasses to make them more comfortable to wear.
Perhaps the glasses look uncomfortable on the nose or are pushed too deep into the temples. Or your glasses may be bent around your face.

These issues can be easily resolved as follows:

1. The nose position is wrong
If you have a wireframe, your glasses will have a nose pad. These can be adjusted by simply pinching or pulling your fingertips. If the glasses slip, push the pad inwards and if the glasses are uncomfortable or bite your nose, push them out. If you're using a plastic frame, you can bend the temples in or out to adjust the fit of your glasses to your nose.
First, move the frame under warm water. About 30 to 60 seconds is sufficient. If the plastic frame slides off your nose, apply gentle pressure inwards and downwards to tighten the fit behind your ears. If the frame is pushing your nose too hard, apply outward and upward pressure.

2. Incorrect rod fit
If your glasses are too tight or too loose for your temples, you can slightly bend your temples to relieve or increase the pressure. Move the frame under warm water to soften your arms. Then grasp your arm with the piece bent downwards.
