A sixteen-year-old boy Rameshbabu Praggnananandhaa stunned Magnus Carlsen.


An Indian boy has expanded the pride of India by telling the world its capability and on Sunday, 20 February 2022 he beat the world’s number 1 chess player Magnus Carlsen during the Airthings Masters.


The boy also named ‘Pragg’ beat the world’s best player but it has been seen many times that Magnus has given many chances to the child by committing many mistakes to allow the child.

India has congratulated the boy and also feels proud including Sachin Tendulkar also gave his blessings to the child.

The boy has become the third Indian Grandmaster to win against Norwegian after Vishwanathan Anand and Pentala Harikrishna.


After winning the game the boy said “I am very happy.”

Further said

“It’s about time to go to bed, as I don’t think I will have diner at 2.30 in the morning.”


He also said after the winning of the match “I think yesterday was not so good,” and “Today I think my play was much better, so I hope this continues for the next two days.”

This is not the first timer when the boys got any international award or any award of honor, he also in 2016 became the youngest international master in History at the age of ten.
