Differences between Gandhi and Bose
Playing text to speech
Subhas Chandra Bose and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhiwere two great Indian leaders who have fought their ways in bringing freedom to our country India but despite that they both had their own ways, paths, ideology to follow in brining revolution and change in the country. Gandhiji studied law from South Africa and eventually became freedom fighter who put forward non - violent means to fight the British during the freedom struggle while Bose was an Indian Nationalist who used military means to attain India’s freedom from British rule.
Bose and Gandhi have always differed in the course of India’s history, and the reasons for the same have been many but both regardless of their differences, they have been well known and recognized for their thirst of freedom starting from 1612 to 1947. Subhas Chandra Bose was a powerful thinker, but to form a vision towards the national goal, he needed time to think about his voices and actions. He laid immense focus on the creative spirit of the people of India and laid emphasis on the fields of sculpture, poetry, music, painting and other fields of religious and commercial life. He wanted to abolish inequality from the society for the betterment of Indians. His idealism extended towards the business community as well since his keen interest was to remove the massive deformity from that community. Culturally he wanted to give rise to economist, historians, poets and philosophers who had the creative spirit to make India principled and have a recognition for itself in the fields of art, cultures & science. Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Aazadi Dunga’ was the famous slogan said by Bose, still reflect like a fire of patriotism in every part of our country. There was no illusion or desire which would influence him as Netaji’s patriotism was virtuous with morals and leaned towards a clear-sighted idea of independence.
Today Netaji’s idea of nationalism is distorted as jingoism by the sectarian groups and political leaders. The tiger of Indian freedom movement: Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose portrays many such incidents and heroic act of Bose which have lead an important impact in the history of India.
Mohandas Gandhi on the other hand was an passionate believer in the use of ahimsa as the basis of his search for truth. He was acclaimed as The Father Of Nations also called Bapu by the entire nation as well as worldwide today for his contributions towards India. The nature of truth, he considered to be a matter of consideration, and he contemplated it initially to be 'God is Truth” and later revised it to be 'Truth is God”. He has given many different ideologies , freedom movements like from boycotting English attires to forcing them to Quit India , thereby giving the Indians hope and power to fight for the freedom of their own country. Gandhiji was a great revolutionist who have fought a lot to bring this freedom to the nation.
Both Netaji and Gandhi firmly believed that the people of India, irrespective of caste, religion and gender should be able to live together in peace and harmony still the fact that they were different in their ideologies, movement, nature their differences was highly exaggerated. The fact that they had different views on religion, caste, freedom, the country's state of mind and act also their approach for every situation varied enough to make them stand as an opposite image in the history of nation. It was a huge dispute of the national constituency and the situation of India that it went all way round to impart a disturbing attitude among the people of India.
Yet the fact that it was Bose who gave Gandhi the title Father of Nation and Mahatma Gandhi supported and stood beside him in Indian National Congress movements and acts they have always stayed up unitedly for the betterment and upliftment of the nation.
Our country is obliged enough today for the sacrifices and actions which was made by these two great leaders. Their impressions have led our country in a remarkable position that we are known world wide for our sounds of glory. Bose was considered a patriot even by some of his rivals in the Congress. Gandhi himself wrote that Bose's '... patriotism is second to none', means he was moved to proclaim after Bose's death that he was a 'prince among patriots'—a reference, in particular, to Bose's achievement in integrating women and men from all the regions and religions of India in the Indian National Army. Bose wanted freedom for India at the earliest opportunity, and to some extent, he didn't care who he had to approach for assistance. Mahatma Gandhi and Subhash Chandra Bose are considered to be pioneer in Indian freedom movement regardless of the means of their way of struggle. With opposing ideology and action, their parallel contribution for India’s struggle remains very relevant.
