The Financial Times proclaimed that Ma was later replaced as a judge in the final episode of the TV program 'Africa's Business Heroes', a statement by IANS mentioned. His image was removed from the webpage of judges, and he was prominently left out of a promotional clip, the article declared. The final episode of that show was aired in November, shortly after Ma "Made a straightforward speech criticizing China's regulators and its state-owned banks".
