After the ban of TikTok in India, many short video-making apps are being launched. In this series, Google-owned platform YouTube has also launched short video making platform Shorts in India like TikTok.

Short videos can be made on YouTube's short platform just like Tiktok. Also by editing these, you can add Youtube licensed songs. Let us know that shortly before, Facebook's photo-sharing app Instagram (Instagram) started Instagram reels on its platform, which users are liking for coffee.

YouTube said in a blog post that YouTube has been working on the Shorts video app for a long time. But, now the company has launched it officially. According to the report, this service will be available to Indian users first.

Like Tiktok, short videos can be made on this short platform of YouTube. Also by editing these, you can add Youtube licensed songs. YouTube said that it will add more features to the app in the coming months as well as add users to other countries.

On 29 June, 59 Chinese apps were banned by the Indian government, including Tikkok. Rapposo, Chingari, Josh (Dailyhunt) and Moj (Sharechat) have been launched in India since Bain. Just as the option to select audio and song is given in TikTok, the biggest feature in YouTube shorts will be that licensed songs will already be present in this list.

Tik Tok was a very popular short video app in India. This video app had around 200 million users in India. At the same time, Youtube has 308 million active users in India. Earlier, Instagram's Reels feature was brought on behalf of Facebook in a competition of Tiktok. However, the Reels feature of Instagram, like Tiktok, could not be popular in India.

Users who do not currently have short camera access can also upload 60-second long vertical video titles and #shorts in description with the hashtag.

Chris Jaffe, vice president of product management at YouTube, revealed in the blog that the shorts feature will soon be made available in iOS and other countries. Not only this, he also said that many new features will also be added soon.

Significantly, YouTube is working on the TikTok clone, this news was in the headlines since the beginning of this year. However, this news was also confirmed in June.
