Pyramid Size Asteroid Set To Hit Earth

Everyone keeps an eye on the passing of asteroids from the Earth. Every month some asteroids pass through the Earth. But this time in the first week of September, some asteroids are coming in the discussion.

Astronomers around the world, including NASA, are watching these asteroids. One of them is much larger than the size of the Pyramid of Egypt.

None of the asteroids that pass this week are among those who harm the Earth. But still, astronomers are eyeing these and they are also important in themselves.

Asteroid 465824 (2010 FR) is coming towards the Earth at a very fast speed. Its speed is 14 kilometers per second, which is more than the high supersonic speed.

It will pass by the Earth on 6 September. This Apollo class is called an asteroid because it will pass inside the Earth's orbit.

There is another special thing about this asteroid. According to NASA scientists, the asteroid is more than twice the size of Egypt's Giza Pyramid. Its size is being told from 120 to 270 in diameter. There is currently no threat from this asteroid.

NASA has described the class of this Near-Earth Object (NEO) as an asteroid. Such objects are comets or asteroids that can come within a distance of 1.3 astronomical units (AU) from our Sun. The Astronomical Unit (AU) is an astronomical unit of distance that is the average distance between the Sun and Earth.

According to NASA, the term Near-Earth Object (NEO) refers to objects that are affected by their gravitational force when they come around the planets and go inside the orbit of those planets. In this sense, only comets and asteroids usually fall into its category.

At the same time on Tuesday, the 2011ES4 asteroid passed which was less than the Earth and Moon. But then it also did not cause any harm. 2011ES4 is very interesting in the sense that it is the nearest asteroid on Earth for the next decade. It comes to the Earth once every 9 years. According to NASA data, 2011 ES4 has passed near the Earth 8 times since 1987.

Usually there is no threat from Earth by asteroids, but the gravitational forces of the planets of the Solar System and the Sun can affect them.

That is why they are studied. Apart from this, scientists are also expected to get information about our solar system because these are the elements that were formed during the creation of our solar system.
