How To Track Travel History Via Google

Google tracks your activity in many ways. It is a different matter that you also have a concern about it. But many times you remove it carefully that Google keeps the news of your every movement.

Where do you go throughout the day, how much time you spend at which location, and how many kilometers you travel? Such information is stored. If you want, you can see the whole history. 

Through the timeline on the map, you will be able to see where you went on a day, how much time you spent, and how many kilometers you traveled. That means complete location tracking. 

You can also turn it off if you want, you can also delete location history and if you wish, you can keep it on. However, if you do not need it, then it is better to keep location tracking off in terms of privacy. 

With time, you are also told here the mode of transportation. By bike, by bicycle, or by public transport. Although this is not accurate. But the location is very accurate. 

If you have not used maps or your location is off. Or have already turned off tracking by going to Google's settings, then you will not see your location history in the timeline.

Here are the steps that you can follow to access your location timeline via Google :- 

- Create your Gmail account. Now on Google you can search Google Maps my timeline. Clicking on the first result will go to the direct timeline. You can also open this link - Google Maps Timeline.

-Now you will get many options here. At the top of the left, you will be asked to select Day, Math and Year. You can filter the date from which you have to check the location.

- In the event of location tracking being turned on, your location will appear in Google Maps when the date is selected. Here you will be able to see when you went where.

-A graph will appear at the top from where you will be able to find out on which day your travel has been more and you will be able to know about the location from there also.

-Four big tabs will appear under this user interface, in the first tab it will show how much space you have gone so far. The second one will be about your trips.

-In the third tab, the location history is on or off. By clicking here, you can turn off Location History if you want. There will also be an option to auto delete and manage activity.

-You can see this through the red dot on Google Maps. Along with the location, your photos will also be seen here if you click and upload it on Google Photos.
