Types of surrogacy

Gestational surrogacy - In this process, both the mother and father's egg and sperm are mixed together by taking them in a test tube, and then the surrogate is transferred to the mother's uterus. The genetic properties of both the mother and father enter the child born through this process.

Surrogacy process

Such a process is done with complete care by the expert under the following steps: -

Medical screening - When a couple who signs a contract with full consent between the couple who want to borrow the woman's womb, after that the full medical screening of the lending woman is done so that it To find out whether she is capable of giving birth to a healthy baby or not.

Embryo transfer - When a woman is ready for surrogacy, with the help of birth control pills, she is fully prepared for the fetus. They are also given some injections of progesterone by the doctor to maintain the hormone levels in the woman's body. They are given these injections continuously for 12 weeks to keep the woman's hormone level normal. After that, when the embryo is fully ready, then the fetus is transferred to the woman's uterus.

Pregnancy - The surrogate mother becomes pregnant after transferring the fetus. It is very important to get a pregnant woman examined by a doctor after one week of embryo transfer so that the doctor can check the woman's hormone levels thoroughly.

The periodic examination is done - For the way in which the baby is growing in the womb, doctors do an ultrasound and listen to the heartbeat of the child several times in a span of 9 months. From time to time, the couple is also informed of the child, how healthy the child is, and how much is not.

Birth of the child - For 9 months the pregnant woman is taken full care of and after that, she gives birth to the child under the care of the doctor and gives it to the couple who have borrowed the woman's womb.
