Video calling support is being released in the security-focused instant messaging app Telegram. The company has released it for both Android and iPhone.

It is worth noting that on August 14, Telegram has celebrated its 7th anniversary and during this time the company has launched video calling. The company has said that the need for face to face communication is increasing and that is why it is being introduced. 

According to Telegram, video calling has an end to end encryption feature and users can also verify it. The way to verify will be the same as on normal telegram calling. People on both sides can verify emoji by mixing that the calling is becoming secure. 

Telegram has said that picture-in-picture mode has also been given in video calls. That is, multitasking can also be done while making video calling. For example, with video calling, you will be able to reply to any other message. 

This telegram's video calling is currently one on one, that is, you will only be able to make a video call at the same time. Group video calling is not supported.

However, the company has also cleared that the company will also bring group video calls in the coming months. 

Video calling is easy and the process will be similar to audio call. Go to the contact and press the calling icon. You can update this app from the Play Store or Apple App Store.
