Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created another history and achieved a remarkable milestone that nobody could. He is now the longest-serving non-Congress PM, a used to be fantasy which is now in turn present time's reality. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the fourth highest serving Prime Minister of the country on 13 August 2020. With this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also become the non-Congress Prime Minister of the country who has served the longest period. This information was given by Union Minister Jitendra Singh on 13 August 2020.
This record has been recorded earlier in the name of BJP's Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister for all his tenure together for 2,268 days. On 13 August 2020, Prime Minister Modi broke this record and registered this achievement in his name. Please tell that this record was earlier named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Prime Minister Modi will hoist the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort on August 15 for the seventh consecutive time. It will also be a unique record as a non-Congress leader. With this, he will come fourth on the list of the most frequently hoisted prime ministers on the occasion of independence.

The record of hoisting the national flag on the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day is in the name of Pandit Nehru. He hoisted the tricolor 17 times from the Red Fort as Prime Minister. After he comes the name of Indira Gandhi, who hoisted the flag 11 times. At the same time, Dr. Manmohan Singh, as Prime Minister, has hoisted the tricolor for 10 consecutive times from the Red Fort.
The three Prime Ministers serving the country for the longest time are Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Manmohan Singh. All three belong to the Congress party. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru holds the record for being the longest Prime Minister in Indian politics.
He was the Prime Minister of the country from the independence of the country till his death i.e. 27 May 1964. He was the Prime Minister for 16 years and 286 days in total. There have been a total of 14 Prime Ministers since independence in the country.
Indira Gandhi's name on the second number: Indira Gandhi has a record of being Prime Minister for 5,829 days. She remained the Prime Minister from 24 January 1966 to 24 March 1977, for 11 years and 59 days.
After that, he took the post of Prime Minister for the second time from 14 January 1980 to 31 October 1984. She remained in the post of PM again for 4 years and 291 days before the murder.
Manmohan Singh at number three: Manmohan Singh has a record of being Prime Minister for 3,656 days. Manmohan Singh was sworn in as Prime Minister on 22 May 2004 and till 26 May 2014 i.e. he remained Prime Minister for ten years.
Gulzari Lal Nanda is the name of India's shortest term as Prime Minister. After the death of Lal Bahadur Shastri, he was the acting Prime Minister for 13 days from 11 January 1966 to 24 January 1966. He was also the acting Prime Minister of Jawaharlal Nehru on 27 May 1964 to 9 June 1964.
This milestone achieved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a tight slap on the face of those Congress worshippers who used to think India is Congress and its political system cannot be there without the grand old party held privately by the Gandhi family.
