In short, I think we need it. I just want to clear it out that FEMINISM is not necessarily about women having more power than men. It is just about women being treated equally as men. 
In the world full of chaos, there are people who still believe that women should stay at home and be submissive, which is ridiculously ridiculous, to say the least. 
We even find people calling it to be the fault of a woman when she is being raped because according to those people, the woman dressed PROVOCATIVELY. 
Thus, we need strong-headed ladies, who know their rights and can stand up for themselves and other females.

But then, everything has two sides to it. & The other side with this feminism is that there are people who call themselves feminists, but base their persuasion on the basis of anger or hatred of men, which is just not feminism.

I mean feminism at its core promotes equality of men and women, not the hatred of men or women. 
So, it is easy for us to find or for that matter, we may often get to see the Occasional 'KILL ALL MEN' & so on kind of stuff which is literally insane and at some point laughable too because those who do this are not the real supporter of feminism, coz they don't even know the real objective or meaning of this feminism.

There are also many people who offer up the argument that since men and women have physical differences, thus women are not the 'same' as men, and so there can't be equality. 
Basically they relate the 'Sameness' with 'Equality' which is absolutely not fine. I guess, it is critical to understand that 'SAME DOESN'T MEAN EQUAL'. 
The issue is about equal rights and equal access to opportunities. So this argument of not being 'Same' is a misguided one.

Ultimately, feminism is all about fighting for women's rights, but occasionally many people may have varying visions of what equality looks like and instead they will spread the message of hatred and will call themselves a true supporter of feminism. But these people are very toxic to everybody coz, in the end, we need people having caliber to stand up & support for the beautiful cause of Equality in the real sense and nothing else.
