Today we celebrated the 123rd birth anniversary of the most impactful freedom fighter of India -
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Who formed the provisional government of India (Azad Hind) which formed the part of the region of occupied Singapore with Port Blair as it's capital.
If we see Netaji's legacy he is undoubtedly the bravest and actionable leader of all time but we never did justice with him. We never acknowledged him above Gandhi, Nehru just to let him rot in other parts of India. We seemed to have forgotten his sacrifice, determination for India and how we never respected him politically instead our governments in the past have figured him out as the war criminal which was nakedly evident from the RTI's (Right To Information) pleas but luckily alas this Narendra Modi government was not like the previous ones and rightfully gave him the place of honor which no one could.
Now with the files being declassified we know certain truths about his aftermath World War II life and one day, we would be certain to conclude how he died. Nevertheless, in today's turmoil of politics, not a single political party of India can inherit the true values, vision, actions of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Azad Hind Fauj, his army front soon vanished from an organized unit to a mere freedom struggle legend whereas his own Forward Block party is now part of the Indian Left Front comprising of the so-called Communist Party Of India and it's different split factions.
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is not idolized by any political party starting with the great grand old party Indian National Congress which never truly minded him as their leader and even the current ruling party Bhartiya Janata Party which was ideologically not oriented to Netaji's system.
The reasons are the obvious and the old negative ones which can be stated as selfishness, selectivism, polarisation, negative politics and what not.....you may add blah-blah to add but on a lighter note these political parties are not capable of respecting leave apart matching the position to hold the baton of stature for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Hopeful that one day these political parties will realize their grave mistakes and rectify them to follow the path of Subhashism to be to and fro for Netaji and his motherland Bharat.
