Do you ever ask yourself why most of the terrorists who preach hatred in the world associate with the Islamic religion? For the past decades, global terrorism has been on the rise and this has most often been associated with Islamic fundamentalism. Ranging from the United States of America to different countries in Europe, India and other parts of the Middle East, there are certain groups of people who claim to be Muslims, who have committed heinous acts of violence in the name of this religion. All these acts have elicited various feelings including; fear, confusion, and anger, but regrettably, most of this hatred has been directed at Islam in general.

Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other extra-power radical groups have used religious symbolism to support their attacks. From the September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S. to the bombings of European cities to the continued ethnic conflict in the Indian-administered Kashmir, these groups have spread the observable hatred between Islam and violence. For instance, in Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PAK), continuous conflict precipitates incidents of extremism, involving battles between the terror group and state security forces, resulting in greatly increased instability in the whole area.

Critics refer to the life of Muhammad to question the morality of Islam’s founding figures. Prophet Muhammad married Aisha and it is widely claimed she was six years old when they got married. His critics argue that this has an ethical undertone with reference to Muhammad and the ethical aspect of child marriage. In Islamic culture, men can marry up to four women at a time if they can treat them fairly. However, polygamy especially the one that is practised in Western countries is regarded as something that does not apply to the modern-day characteristics of the helpless virtue of EQUALITY of the two genders.

In the global society, there is a growth of terrorism related to Islamic fundamentalism, and due to that people are afraid for their lives. The scandal from the side of opponents that Prophet Muhammad set a bad precedent for the behaviours of Islam when he married a six-year-old Aisha. And all of the above-stating reasons can justify hatred of all the other people of the world which they have for one particular group of people.
