In Surat city of Gujrat, during the ongoing Ganapati festival, there were reports of damage to Ganesha’s idol. People brutally threw stones at the pandal and hit not only the idol but also the cops and their vehicles. For protection, police fired teargas shells to disperse the mob, and carried out operations in the area to gather valid proofs. 

Police could manage CCTV footage and video camera recordings, and so far could arrest 32 people. To ensure strict punishment against the people who indulged in violence Gujrat’s Minister Harsh Sanghavi visited the site. FIR was registered under IPC section 143 (unlawful assembly), 147 (rioting), 336(rash act endangering human life), and 295 (defiling place of worship) against the community. 

No sooner did the city control room get the news, than all the police forces rushed to the scene to bring the situation under control. Whether it is Hanuman Jayanti, Ram Navami, Saraswati puja, or any other Hindu religious possession, Islamists never miss a chance to create destruction for the same. A case of an Islamist attack on Hindu youths came to light where the youths were injured horribly.

The Hindus have been threatened by the same as in, “Will not let you go alive, will have to finish you”. Hindus too braved the battle by not letting the idol get damaged in front of them, so they attacked the idol at the pandal. The incident took place in a communally sensitive locality, Mister claimed there that every single person who had disturbed the peace of the city would be nabbed. Bappa will not spare anyone, since he always stood against the wrongs and stood for the rights.
