Kangana Ranaut is an Indian cinema actress widely known for her versatility and depiction of effective women-centric roles. She has obtained four National Film Awards, 5 Filmfare Awards, and, in 2020, the Padma Shri, the fourth-maximum civilian award.

Ranaut has appeared in six instances in Forbes India's Celebrity one hundred list.

Kangana Ranaut's Background

Ranaut, initially from Himachal Pradesh, traveled to Delhi at the age of 16 and in brief pursued a profession in modeling. She chose to modify her concentration to perform and enrolled inside the theater, wherein she was educated underneath Arvind Gaur. Following a reaction from theatergoers, she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in Bollywood and enrolled in a four-month performing programme.

The actress rose to prominence in 2014 together with her position as Queen. The film was given unanimous essential acclaim and became a big star. She gained both the Filmfare and National Film Awards for Best Actress.  

In 2020, a Bollywood casting director filed a lawsuit against Ranaut for defaming the industry and portraying people who work in it negatively through allegations of nepotism, drug addiction, communal bias, attempting to create a schism between artists from different communities, and insulting religions on social media and in public statements.

Kangana Ranaut may have finally agreed to enter politics. At least, that's what her most recent public statement suggests. The star was at a TV channel-hosted event when she discussed the notion of entering politics. She constantly participates in political debates and is considered a strong supporter of Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party. She has, however, consistently stated that she enjoys being an actor and expressing her opinions through her social media profiles. Kangana attended a meeting on Monday and stated that 'now is the right time' to enter politics.

The performer, who has dabbled in directing and production, insisted that she never needed the support of any political party to compete in the industry. She did, however, express an interest in entering politics in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Kangana told TV9, "This country has given me so much, and I feel deeply responsible to give back." I've always been more of a nationalist, and that image has dominated even my extremely successful acting career. I am aware that I am deeply loved and valued.
