Why balochistan want freedom from pakistan
Playing text to speech
Highlights
- History of еxploitation and nеglеct- Balochistan has bееn еxploitеd by outsidеrs for cеnturiеs. Thе rеgion's natural rеsourcеs, such as coppеr, gold, and natural gas, havе bееn еxtractеd by forеign powеrs with littlе bеnеfit to thе local population. Pakistani authoritiеs havе also bееn accusеd of nеglеct, providing Balochistan with fеw еconomic opportunitiеs and nеglеcting its infrastructurе.
- Sеnsе of еthnic and cultural diffеrеncе- Balochis arе еthnically and culturally distinct from thе majority Pashtun and Punjabi populations in Pakistan. Thеy spеak thеir own languagе, Balochi, and havе thеir own uniquе customs and traditions. Many Balochis fееl that thеy arе not trеatеd as еquals by thе Pakistani govеrnmеnt and that thеir culturе is undеr thrеat.
- Political marginalization- Balochis havе long fеlt marginalizеd by thе Pakistani govеrnmеnt. Thеy havе had littlе say in how thе rеgion is govеrnеd, and thеir political lеadеrs havе oftеn bееn jailеd or assassinatеd. This sеnsе of political marginalization has only fuеlеd thе dеsirе for indеpеndеncе.
- Tеrrorism and violеncе- Thе Pakistani govеrnmеnt has rеspondеd to thе Balochi sеparatist movеmеnt with a hеavy hand, using military forcе and arbitrary dеtеntions. This has lеd to a cyclе of violеncе and instability in thе rеgion.
- Human rights abusеs- Thе Pakistani govеrnmеnt has bееn accusеd of widеsprеad human rights abusеs in Balochistan, including torturе, disappеarancеs, and еxtrajudicial killings. Thеsе abusеs havе only sеrvеd to furthеr aliеnatе thе Balochi pеoplе and strеngthеn thе dеsirе for indеpеndеncе.
The Baloch people have never forgotten it. Today they are again demanding independence from Pakistan. Some have become violent. They accuse Pakistani forces, which have been stationed in the area since 1948, of wielding violence against them. Bomb attacks and kidnappings are now commonplace. Balochistan is dangerously unstable, but the West doesn't care.
Balochistan occupies about 44% of the land area of Pakistan and is adjacent to Iran's Sistan province, where many people call themselves Baloch. The state is home to some of the world's largest copper and gold deposits, as well as abundant reserves of coal, oil and natural gas. Last year, the state-owned Pakistan Petroleum Corporation announced the discovery of a staggering 1 trillion cubic feet of gas reserves.
My answer is yes. Because, prior to her 1947, Pakistan has never existed in this region anywhere in the world throughout history. The 1947 partition was a death sentence for religious reasons for the historical indigenous peoples of South Asia, including the Sindhis, Bengalis, Baroques, Pashtuns, Kashmirs, Barawaristanis and Saraikis.
Pakistan is a stateless state owned by a mercenary army. These military and extremist religious tenets were used to conquer and exploit the oppressed Bengalis, Sindhis, Balochis, Pashtuns, Kashmiris and Saraikis. In Sindh and Balochistan, bloody military campaigns and genocide continue to brutally silence genuine secular, separatist and nationalist political voices and movements. Political activists and citizens are routinely abducted, forcibly disappeared, imprisoned, tortured, extrajudicially killed, and their bodies dumped.
Let me tell you the reasons why baluchistan get freedom from pakistan
An instrument of accession
Balochistan has been at war for independence for 73 years. Also, it can be said that the soil conditions in Balochistan are similar to those in Kashmir. In addition, we will explain the reasons for this uprising in Balochistan.
Balochistan was never part of Pakistan, but when the British left Pakistan, Ahmad Yar Khan (leader of the Karats) claimed its independent state status at the time of its independence. Mohammad Ali Jinnah himself signed the agreement and Balochistan was set free.
However, in October 1947, Mohammad Ali Jinnah Khan proposed incorporating Balochistan as a province of Pakistan in order to improve the area (Pakistan had no intention of doing so). Karat referred the decision to both houses of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, which voted against Pakistan's proposal.
Khan himself signed the proposal and Balochistan lost its independence. It is believed that Pakistani forces invaded Balochistan, kidnapped Khan, and forced him to sign the accession.
The people of Baloch have always wanted Balochistan to become an independent country and that is why they are still fighting for it.
Greedy pakistan gets natural resources
Balochistan is a very arid and arid region facing a water crisis. But it is also very rich in natural resources (copper, gold, uranium), especially natural gas . Pakistan has been using Balochistan as a natural gas supplier for 70 years, and all of Pakistan is dependent on Balochistan.

But what did Balochistan get and what did it get? there is nothing.
Despite its great importance to Pakistan, Balochistan is the least developed region in Pakistan. Balochistan's contribution to Pakistan's GDP fell from 4.9% in the 1970s to 3% in 2000. Balochistan can and does independently light up all of Pakistan. But for 70 years, the people of Balochistan have lived in darkness. They are highly illiterate and their contribution to the national life of Pakistan is negligible.
Undemocratic rules
If we live in a democracy, everyone has the right to express their opinions and demands. There have been thousands of cases of civilians being abducted by Pakistani forces on suspicion of being members of insurgents or armed groups. Thousands of mutilated bodies have been found over the years. Locals claim the Pakistani military uses this tactic to silence voices and spread fear. While many human rights groups and international organizations are working to clarify the catastrophe, the Pakistani media has remained silent.
Migration of other people in baluchistan
Pashtuns and other ethnic groups migrate to Balochistan, while various Baluchis leave their homeland and settle abroad to protect their families from atrocities.
The migration would greatly increase the chances of Baroques becoming a minority in the region, undermining the united front against Pakistan.
Poor infrastructure facilities
The natural scenery of Balochistan is beautiful, but the man-made scenery looks more like a scene from a desert zombie movie.
There are no real roads, no real schools or hospitals, no real electricity.
For 70 years, infrastructure development in Balochistan has been a top priority of the Pakistani government, and even many Pakistanis admit it.
Pak-china economic relations
Already in 2013, China decided to build an effective alternative route linking Gwadar port in Balochistan to China so that resource supplies from the Arabian Sea would not be affected in the face of threats through the South China Sea. Decided to invest $50 billion. Ocean.
Gwadar is a fishing village, but when the Gwadar port was built, the only livelihood for fishermen in the area was destroyed. They are not even allowed to land via this port, which is causing outrage.
The Pakistani government says the project will help Balochistan develop, but locals don't believe it.
Final thoughts
Balochistan describe themselves as Balochi's rather than Pakistani. Foreign media are also barred from entering Balochistan. I believe Pakistan should settle the Baluchistan conflict first before invading Kashmir. The fact is they are not given the correct share. Until and unless pakistan don't learn from the mistakes of the past and don't stop expoilatation among balochis that led to the separation, no matter what Baluchistan will soon separate from them and get complete freedom.
