Incident of Odisha Train Crash- Know more about

Playing text to speech

Yes, according to the most recent reports, human error caused the disastrous Odisha train accident.

You may have read a lot of responses on social media channels like facebook, instagram and watched a lot of videos on YouTube in which people complain about the anti-collision device, but the real reason is that the track switch that sets the train's path broke due to human error.

First, let me quickly summarize the situation

The Coromondel Express headed for Chennai on Friday night was moving toward Bhadrakh, its next stop. The train was supposed to travel through the main line at its maximum speed, 130 kmph, and avoid the Bahanga Bazar railway station.

The Assistant Station Master of Bahanga Bazar set the course and signaled for the approaching international exp to proceed while on duty. On the down line, another train headed for Howrah received the green light for a skip to Bahanga Bazar at the same time.

The SMVT-HWH train entered Bahanga Bazar first and avoided 80% of the station when it met the Coromondal exp., which was on its way up the line.

The train was supposed to skip the station through the main line, so the signal for Coromondel exp was green. However, the track switch no failed, so the train continued on. 17 A, the course for Coromondal exp got set for circle line.

Presently let me let you know that the speed to enter a circle line is set somewhere in the range of 30 and 50 kmph, which is very nearly multiple times lower than the speed of the principal line.

The signals were being followed by the locopilots, and they entered the yard at the maximum speed allowed. Due to its high speed, the train derailed as soon as it touched the loop line's point switch, and it ran over a freight train that was waiting for its signal on the loop line.

This was a terrible accident, but it got even worse when the last three coaches of the Coromandel Express jumped and hit the other train, the Smvt-Hwh Express, which was passing through the down line. also went off course.

The last three mentors of Coromandel Exp. and the two final SMVT-HWH Exp. coaches. were general open mentors, which brought about additional wounds and passings as they were totally stuffed.

According to the reports, there was support work happening in the part, and a similar point, i.e., 17 A, was kept up with by the Flagging and Telecom staff a couple of hours prior. At that point, they made a mistake when setting up the relays.

The command to set the Coromandel Express path on the main line never came through, and the path remained set for the loop line.

The signal for Coromandel Exp. turned green because of a malfunction in the mechanism that led to the incorrect information being received.

This accident's exact causes and perpetrators are the subject of a high-level investigation. At this point, it appears that this accident was caused by telecom and signaling staff.

My Observations

Incident of Odisha Train Crash- Know more about

First Sequence- As depicted in the above picture, a freight train was at rest on the DN LOOP line.

Second Sequence- Due to a signal failure, a train that was supposed to travel along the DOWN MAIN line, as depicted in above picture, was diverted to the DN LOOP line.

Third Sequence- As shown in the above picture, the freight train resting on the DN LOOP line was struck by the locomotive, which was traveling at approximately 130 kilometers per hour. As a result of the high momentum, the locomotive climbed over the freight wagons, causing many coaches to derail on the other side of the UP MAIN line.

Fourth Sequence- A couple of moments later a Train going on the UP Primary line which was at a speed of around 130 Kmph stirs things up around town that was wrecked onto the tracks because of its crash with the cargo train on DN Circle line and in this way expanding the losses.

Through various news outlets or social media, I'm sure that every one of you already knew what caused this accident. The Koramandal Express shifted to a track where an already-parked goods train was. It hit the other train at a speed of 125-130 kmph bringing about its last three general compartments raising a ruckus around town 2 general compartments of the other train running on third track. Since those five compartments were for general classes, there were obviously a lot more people in them than in reserved classes. That is one of the primary causes of the large number of deaths.

This is a terrible incident. We've lost a lot of people. We must not become Satyapal Malik, who would probably link this accident to a previous discussion about corrosion on that track with the Prime Minister.

We don't run for office. We are residents. While we are entitled to criticize the government, we should avoid falling prey to those who are content today because this incident has given them the opportunity to request the resignation of the Railway Minister.

Even though the government has announced financial assistance for these families, I have the impression that receiving that assistance will take months. Shouldn't the government immediately assist them? They require assistance right now. They should be able to get cash from either the SDM or the DM. It is obvious that it must take place in such a way that it is not a novel method of earning money.
