Aero India 2023, which will run for five days and begin on Monday, is all set to demonstrate military prowess in Bengaluru by showcasing a number of Made-in-India defense products. For the 14th edition of Aero India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bengaluru on Sunday evening.
Modi was received at the HAL Airport by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. He landed in an Air Force special flight.
According to the statement, the major exhibitors are Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Lockheed Martin, Israel Aerospace Industry, BrahMos Aerospace, Army Aviation, HC Robotics, SAAB, Safran, Rolls Royce, Bharat Forge Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), and BEML Limited.
The main inventions at Aero India 2023 are as follows:
> The 5th Generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft, LCA Mark2, and Naval Twin Engine Deck-based Fighter jet, among other futuristic indigenous Indian aircraft, will be displayed. There are various stages of development for each aircraft.

The models of the air-launched BrahMos supersonic cruise missile and the BrahMos NG missile were on display by BrahMos Aerospace.
At Aero India, HAL is displaying the full-scale model of its supersonic trainer aircraft known as the HLFT-42. It is planned to develop and sell the model airplane with Lord Hanuman on its tail as a modern combat trainer aircraft.
The event will begin with the unveiling of an Indian start-up's jetpack-wearing soldier model. 48 jetpacks for troops stationed along the northern borders have been put up for sale by the Indian Army in a call for bids.
Concentrate on showcasing indigenous technologies:
In accordance with the vision of "Make in India, Make for the World," an official statement states that this time around, the focus of Aero India-2023 will be on demonstrating indigenous technologies and equipment and establishing partnerships with foreign businesses.
It stated that 98 nations, the defense ministers of 32 nations, the air chiefs of 29 nations, and 73 chief executive officers of global and Indian original equipment manufacturers are likely to attend the largest event to date.
