Patiala witnessed violence between Khalistan and Anti-Khalistan
The violence started after Khalistan supporters and radical Sikh elements came out in mass to oppose a march that was provoking the sentiment of Khalistan by uttering the word “Khalistan Murdabad,” in Patiala, Punjab.
The anti-Khalistan march was organised by the members of the Shiv Sena (Bal Thackeray) Party members. Many peoples were injured in a protest including some police officers of Punjab while protecting the protesters.
A mob having turbaned in the head and a sharp sword in hand with waving Anti-India flags during the protest clearly shows the radicalization of the Sikh Community. Well, this is not the maiden attempt of Sikhs when they tried to disturb the peace and sanctity of the National Flag of India. They also flagged their flags during the Republic Day Protest in Red Fort, Delhi.
