30 January 2022, 'Shaheed Diwas'
Playing text to speech
The day 30 January is commonly known as the Shaheed Diwas in India.
'Every tiny molecule of Ash is in motion with my heat I am such a Lunatic that I am free even in Jail.' the
The above words are exemplary of the heat of our freedom fighters and today I am using them to commemorate the sacrifice of Bhagat Singh
Shaheed Diwas is the day of commemoration of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, known as the Father of Nation. The day was full of sorrow when the member of
Rashtriya Swamsevak Sangh (RSS) Nathuram Godse shot Mahatma Gandhi on the evening prayer in
Birla House on 30 January 1948. This day is used to remember the death of that old person who witnessed the
partition of India and also he has been part of its administration.
Shaheed Diwas as a ‘Martyr’s Day is also used to celebrate on 23 March and many others. The day is used to commemorate our real Freedom Fighters who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation, this day the three lions who were hanged to death by the enemy of the nation ‘Britishers’ names are Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar.
Every year on this day, the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Defence Minister, and the three services of defence (Army, Airforce, and Navy) pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s Samadhi at Raj Ghat in Delhi. The government order in every state and union territory is followed by in which the 2-minute silence is compulsory for all in all government offices and schools for the memory of martyred freedom fighters.
India is a country where the Martyr of the nation is always used to reside in the hearts of Indians. We are highly motivated by the story of our freedom fighters that have been endorsed in the books of the nation.
The independence of India is the only result of such a struggle that has been faced by our fighters. We remember the day when Bhagat Singh bombed the assembly just to make its voice audible to the enemy of the nation. The enthusiasm and the courage he had at that time are unbelievable and full of courage.
I am the person who pays warm salutes to all the Freedom Fighters of the Nation including the patriot the Indian Army, the Indian Airforce, and the Indian Navy who died for its homeland. Our ancestors have obeyed their duty to save our motherland from various outsiders enemies like Pakistan and China during the War of 1971 with Pakistan and China with 1962, now it’s our time to secure our homeland from enemies.
I am a huge fan of my freedom fighters and at the time when writing about them, I wanted to recite the line of the very courageous freedom fighter’s Ram Prashad Bismil here-
“Desh hit paida huye hai
Desh par mar jayenge
Marte marte desh ko
Zinda magar kar jayenge”
