Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is the branch of Computer Science. Artificial Intelligence is abbreviated as AI. Artificial Intelligence combined with the two words Artificial and Intelligence. The word artificial means that simulate the real beauty. In the same way the word intelligence refers to the ability to understand, learn and think. So in the combined manner we can say that artificial intelligence is a technology that simulates human intelligence, behavior and thinking capabilities by machine processes to perform complex tasks.
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial intelligence refers to the software that can simulates complex humans task by itself.
In theoretical point of view, Artificial intelligence is defined as follows:
“Artificial Intelligence defined as the simulation of human intelligence, behavior and thinking in machines with computational rationality to perform complex tasks. “
Some other definitions of Artificial intelligence are as follows:
Artificial intelligence is a technology that refers to the simulation of human intelligence by machines, especially a smart computer system.
The intelligence demonstrated by machines, as opposed to the natural intelligence displayed by humans or animals is known as Artificial intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence refers to a technology in which a machine is programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. This technology approaches human thinking capabilities.
Types of Artificial Intelligence
On the basis of capabilities, Artificial Intelligence can be divided into three types as follows:
1: Weak AI
2: General AI
3: Strong AI
Goal of the Artificial Intelligence
The goal of Artificial Intelligence is to make a smart intelligent computer system like humans to solve various complex problems. Artificial Intelligence approaches the smart intelligence machine that is simulates the human behavior and thinking capabilities.
Importance of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence has a very wide range of scope due to its complex task processing. Artificial Intelligence systems are concerned about maximizing the chances of success when a machine approaches humans thinking and behavior. Artificial intelligence technology prefers learning, reasoning, and self-correction. AI completely deals with Structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Uses of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence helps to create smart intelligent machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.
Applications of the Artificial Intelligence
Some of the most popular examples of the artificial intelligence is as follows:
- Manufacturing robots
- Self-driving cars
- Smart assistant
- Proactive healthcare management
- Disease mapping
- Automated financial investing
- Virtual travel booking agent
- Social media monitoring
- Siri
- Customer support using catboats
- Expert Systems
- Online game playing
- Intelligent humanoid robot
- Natural Language Processing
- Speech recognition
- Machine Vision
Introduction to Machine Learning
Machine Learning is also the branch of Computer Science and subfield of Artificial Intelligence. Machine Learning is the way of implementing Artificial Intelligence. Machine learning is abbreviated as ML.
Machine Learning is composed with two words Machine and Learning. The first word machine refers to an apparatus that have several parts, each have definite function and performed together a particular task by using or applying electrical power. The word learning refers to the way of adopting new knowledge through another medium such as experience, study and communication. Machine learning is a process by with a machine learned from past data without programmed explicitly.
What is Machine Learning?
In the theoretical concern of machine learning we can say that Machine Learning enhances machines with the ability to learn autonomously, based on observations and analysis within a given data without specific programming.
Machine Learning includes the algorithms that learn from data (raw facts or observations).
Types of Machine Learning
Machine learning can be divided into three types as follows:
- 1: Supervised Learning
- 2: Unsupervised Learning
- 3: Reinforcement Learning
Importance of Machine Learning
Machine learning is a subset of Artificial Intelligence which allows a machine to automatically learn from prepared data without explicit programming. Machine learning deals with Structured and semi-structured data. Machine learning concentrates on learning and self-correction when introduced with data. Machine learning is mainly concerned about accuracy and patterns. Machine learning is working to create machines that can perform only those specific tasks for which they are trained.
Goal of the machine learning
The goal of ML is to allow machines to learn from data so that they can give accurate output.
Uses of Machine Learning
Machine Learning implements Artificial Intelligence.
Examples of the Artificial Intelligence
The main applications of machine learning are as follows:
1: Online recommender system
2: Google search algorithms
3: Facebook auto friend tagging suggestions
Difference between Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning
Conclusion:
Artificial Intelligence refers to a technology in which a machine is programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.
Machine learning teach machines with data to perform a particular task and give an accurate result. Through Machine learning you can extract knowledge from data without explicit programs.
