If a Lead or prospect agrees to take the conversation to a next level then it is qualified to create Account, Contact and Opportunity thereby initiating the to and fro between Lead and Sales representative.

Account is the company or organization with which the sales process is taking place, Contact is the point of contact or the person with whom the deal will be pursued while the Opportunity contains all the information of the deal. Once the Opportunity is won or the prospect agrees to receive a Quote for the deal a suitable Quote for the Product is sent to them. 

If the prospect agrees on the Quote, an Order is given for the product and an Invoice is generated henceforth.
