Saving Session Of NEET-JEET Exam For Students

Playing text to speech

Saving session of the NEET-JEE (National Entrance Test & Joint Engineering Entrance) exams was evidently important. Post corona pandemic the issue of postponing vs cancelling entrance exams was the prime issue in the education sector of India. Students were in a mode of uncertainty and this matter had reached the apex court of India- Supreme Court.

The central government was waiting for this case as it believed being late due to maintaining the "constitutional decorum" so when the court had asked them, It replied with a point of agreeing to conduct the exams and as from experts to government officials and even the most common student would have made an idea of a possibility that the exams for Engineering and Medical streams is going to take place at all.

Rejecting the plea to shift the dates of engineering and medical entrance examinations - JEE and NEET, the Supreme Court has made it clear that these examinations will be taken only on the dates announced in September.

With this decision, the uncertainties surrounding both the most important undergraduate entrance tests of the country have ended and millions of students have breathed peace.

These exams have already been postponed twice due to the unusual conditions caused by the corona epidemic. However, the outbreak of corona in the country has not reduced yet and amidst all the bad news, it is natural for students and their parents to worry about these exams.

The gathering of large number of students at the examination centers is definitely dangerous for them. The court has also highlighted the uneasiness of the students who reached the court with an application to move the examinations further.

But on the other hand, the possibility of ruining an entire year and the pressure of another batch next year cannot be ignored, which is being faced by millions of students who pass 12th this year.

The sword of uncertainty is hanging over his career and future amid the compulsion to remain indoors for 24 hours during the lockdown and the disheartening news from all around.

Some people also say that this is not a normal time and the sky will not break with the delay of a few months. But he is probably not looking at the whole scenario. August is about to pass.

Engineering and medical entrance tests have not been done, while second-year studies in all types of graduation courses have also started through online medium. Everyone tries not to let the session be late and as much as possible, academic activities continue.

Only the first year batches in medical and engineering colleges are on the air. Half a semester passed, moving forward month-by-month. If both tests are postponed a bit further, then it will be impossible to cover the course of this session before the next batch arrives.

In such a situation, there was no option left before the Supreme Court. The risk of disease has its place and the question of people's health is very important. For this, the court has given instructions to the government and the institutions conducting the examination to take all security measures. But despite the greatest danger, the pace of human society cannot be stopped.

For a whole year, the country should not get new doctors and engineers and the youths should lose their dreams, this situation cannot be accepted at all. The Supreme Court has rightly said that all possible precautions should be taken, but the examination should not be postponed anymore. Hopefully, the logic of this decision and its sentiment will be avoided further postponing other entrance examinations.
