Illiteracy: One of the major reasons for this condition of the villagers is illiteracy. The people of the village still do not consider education necessary. Even if people consider education necessary, they do not have the facility. 

Nowadays the perception of people is changing over time. People are migrating from the villages to the cities. The people of the village are fed up with rural inconvenience and are attracted to the urban facility, and are looking for convenience by making their residence in the cities. Rural Inconveniences: In today's time, every person wants convenience, and it is true that in villages, facilities are not even nominal compared to cities. People living in villages depend on cities for their every need whether it is agricultural resources or household goods etc. They have to come to the city for every little bit of their need, in which both their time and money is wasted. 

Lack of education: Education is the only means of development, which is not present in the villages. Even today, many villages do not have a school and if there is a school, then the standard and the education level in them is not right. Children living in villages have to come to the city for school and if they take education in the village school, then the city remains the only place for higher education. 

The slow pace of development: Villages that are situated on the banks of cities or on main highways have developed, but those villages which are far from the urban border are still looking for development. Many villages have not yet been connected to the main roads. Leaders and political parties turn to these villages only at the time of elections, and new hopes are given in the minds of the villagers. 

Absence of complete health facilities: There is no hospital in the villages, nor any other facility. And even if there is a hospital in a village, then no doctors want to give their services there. Even if there is both a hospital and a doctor somewhere, in the absence of complete resources there, every villager has to turn to the cities in his little trouble.

It is not that there are no people living in the village or life is not possible there. Where the people living in the village have to face many problems, the rural life also has many benefits, due to which the old villagers do not want to leave their village.
