Today’s time provide wide range of career options other than the usual ones. You no longer are forced to choose from traditional vocations that was pursed even before a decade back.
Career options for commerce students include those in Accounting, Finance, Auditing and Banking Sectors.

Students having studied Commerce can pursue their profession in any of the following courses :
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
The traditional and most customary course for students to choose after their 112th. It is a three year graduation program that provides knowledge on subjects like Accountancy, Statistics, Management, Human Resource, Economics, etc. It does not have a high difficulty level in course structure. Yet it is advisable to pursue Honors in B.Com as it adds a benefit compared to simple B.Com.
Bachelors of Law (LLB, BA LLB, B.Com LLB)
Concluding 12th, LLB emerges as one of the options that provides enormous scope in career. Combined with BA or B.Com, LLB terms up to 5 years dual degree saving one year if adopted individually. Governed by The Bar Council of India, it offers to be on influence as lawyers and advocates
Chartered Accountant (CA)
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) provides professional course to student after 12th or Graduation as student deem fit to it requirement. The overall difficulty of this course is very high yet worthwhile, as it is the most respected professional course in the field of Commerce.
Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
This professional course is offered by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). It is quite similar to CA and CS, as the curriculum is a formation at different levels which students needs to clear at rounds. Enrolling this course, students gains knowledge and expertise in the subjects like Cost and Management Accounting, Law and Ethics, etc.
Company Secretary (CS)
Unlike CA, Company Secretary course is under the administration of The Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Students with inclination towards theoretical course in law can choose this option. The course provides an understanding of legal purposes and agreements of companies.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
The Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSB) administers and supervises this professional course. For students having an interest in financial planning subjects, the courses certify and recognize expertise and knowledge in topics like financial planning and jtaxes, retirement, insurance, and estate planning.
Bachelor of Economics
A three year course duration where students get acknowledged to various financial concept and analytical methods in economic study. Subjects included in this course along the lines of economics are microeconomics and macroeconomics, econometrics, statistics, history of economics, political economy etc.
Journalism and Mass Communication
A quite different course from the business courses that offers education related to finance and business topics. Hospitality & Travel Management (BAHM)
A undergraduate course for those whose interest lies and hotel and management. Serving and travelling is the additional perks which no person would decline. It can be pursued from IIHM, IHM and other private entities managed by popular hotel as well.
