Understanding China's Galwan Attack and Pact With Opposition

Playing text to speech

Amidst the Corona epidemic, the manner in which China targeted Indian troops in Ladakh on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is clear that its intentions are dangerous. In the last few days, the Chinese army tried to manipulate the Indian border with Ladakh also in Sikkim, it cannot be just misused.

China is deliberately trying to encroach on Indian borders, it shows that it violated the LAC's consent to maintain the status quo. There is sufficient reason to believe that the Chinese army planned to attack Indian troops in a planned manner.

There are several reasons behind China's attacking stance. One is that he wants to divert the world's attention from his suspected role in spreading the coronavirus. Not only have millions of people died from this virus infection, but the world has also come under the grip of economic recession.

Many developed countries are taking it back. China feels that India is taking a stand against it against developed countries. Keep in mind that while the US President recently put China in the dock, the Indian Prime Minister was invited to the G-7 conference.

China-stricken Australia is also increasing its proximity to India. Japan is already with India, troubled by China's bigotry. China also agrees that India is sieging it with the US, Australia and Japan through the Quad, but with its action in Galvan, India would like to strengthen this alliance.

It is no longer hidden from anyone that companies from developed countries are consolidating their business with China and India can become a new destination for these companies. Apparently China does not like this. It is showing aggression rather than settling disputes as per his habit, but in today's age his attitude is not going to work.

China also seems upset that India is strengthening its infrastructure in the inaccessible Himalayan region. In the last six years, the Modi government has not only shown a rapid pace in building infrastructure along the border with China, but has also made it clear that this work is included in its priority.

The way China is harassing India and its neighboring countries, it seems that it is telling the world that it will not accept to stand in the forefront of the Covid-19 epidemic. He is also trying to tease India and send a message to the developed countries that investing in this country will not be right.

Restless to become a superpower, China is seeing that India is growing in stature under the leadership of Narendra Modi and all the countries of the world are seeing India as a country which can curb the grandeur of China.

Keep in mind that India is among the few countries that have openly opposed China's BRI project. Apart from this, the manner in which India removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir after a surgical and air strike on Pakistan under the leadership of Modi, the country's image has become a strong nation. He wants to attack Modi's image of a strong leader.

It cannot be ignored that before he betrayed India in Galvan, he worked to provoke Nepal. Whatever the intentions of dictator China, Prime Minister Modi has made his intentions clear by saying that India will not give up an inch of its land and will protect the country's self-respect.

Today, markets around the world are flooded with products from China. Apart from this, almost every country is economically dependent on China, but now all countries want to end this dependency. India also wants to do the same after the Corona epidemic. After the Galvan Valley incident, India has also started reducing its economic dependence on China. However, its efforts had already started under the self-sufficient India campaign.

Now this campaign has to be given more momentum. Indian companies will have to show additional activism in this. They have to improve their productivity and also make the quality of their products world class.

It is the need of the hour that all the raw materials and equipment that Indian companies are importing from China should take steps towards preparing themselves. There may be some problems initially, but they have to empower themselves to counteract China's grandeur.

It is difficult to say at the moment that after the incident of Galwan, a situation of war could be created between the two countries, yet India has to be cautious, because the areas of India which China occupied in the war of 1962.

Is it not true that after the shock of China in the Galwan Valley, when the country should have been politically united and visible, Rahul Gandhi is putting the Prime Minister in the dock by making absurd accusations. From his statements it is difficult to understand whose interests he is supplying?

The way Rahul is blaming outright statements against the Prime Minister, it seems that he is trying to cover up the fatal mistakes of the Congress leadership in the case of China. It is good that he remembers the mistakes of Congress which are proving to be a headache for China. He should also realize that he is doing cheap politics.

Sonia Gandhi and some other opposition leaders also introduced these cheap politics in an all-party meeting. Rahul Gandhi should realize that Prime Minister Modi is not going to come under any pressure and provocation. Even if this impression is made to China, it is better.
